A good skate for seasonal skaters
I'm a recreational skater that goes on the ice about bi-weekly. This is the first pair of skates I ever bought. I'm very happy with these, especially for the price. Comfortable, but not perfect. I hope they break in more as I wear them. Blade feels smooth, and I like the strap over the top of the skate. I have a wider foot and finding wide sized skates that are affordable is really difficult. I picked these because other reviews complained they felt loose. This worked out in my favor. The footbed fits well but the upper shaft is a little looser than I'd like. Updates: I've been on these skates for about a year, skating at least once a week. They are holding up well. However, despite wearing them so much, the break-in is not great. They now fit too loose. I am an aggressive skater and am advancing in my skills, so it feels like I've outgrown them. For a seasonal skater who isn't aggressive, I think these skates will work just fine. But for anyone that skates a lot and wants to advance in skill, you will outgrow them and the looseness of the fit makes learning higher skills challenging.

Size was way off.
This was a nice looking, solidly made product but the size wasn't even close. If you can figure out the size, it's a nice skate. Reviews I saw said to order true to size & I ordered 1/2 size up because I skate outside in MN and I like extra socks for warmth when skating. The skates are much to short...big toe pressing hard into the front of the skate, even when I tried them on without the extra socks. Maybe this specific pair of skates was just incorrectly marked but I wouldn't trust it. :(

True to size but remember to sharpen the blades!
They are really true to size. They are very comfortable and has a beautifully soft inside cushion. The laces on the boots are almost to thick to fit in the upper hooks. I needed to adjust the hooks outward to fit the laces. You need to sharpen the blades. You can't use them straight out of the box. Otherwise a beautiful figure skate.

Beginners skates with good ankle support
Nice beginners skates considering they are not leather. Our daughter loved the extra ankle cushioning and the good support. Also, the tightening strap is a nice addition. But, she did not like that the blades were completely dull and needed to be sharpened before first use... They are TRUE to size, so if you wear a size 7 shoe, buy a size 7 !!! They do run a tad bit wide, but fit good with a warm pair of her slightly thicker socks.

My daughter loves these skates
So, after much searching for ice skates both online and in store, I decided that for the comfort and fit and price these were the ones I would order. Now based on a previous review I went with a size smaller than my daughters actual shoe size. It was a spot on fit! The comfort of having the foam, fur tops around the ankle was a delightful bonus. The velcro strap along the top does help with cinching the shoe but also keeps the laces from un-tying. My daughter is 12 and skates at least once every week during the winter. We have found these to be great skates with the right amount of stiffness and yet flexible enough to allow her to learn to skate backwards and other cool tricks without digging into her calves.

Nice skates!
Great skates for an adult beginner-intermediate recreational skater. They are padded like a hockey skate, and you can barely feel the blade under your feet, unlike the all leather figure skates. I was sent the wrong size but they fit so I will keep them. They took awhile to arrive was my only other issue. I would buy these again because I love the style! The company selling these could improve though!

I just love these lady's ice skate. They are exactly as describe, the size is perfect. I take a shoe size 7 1/2 and I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly. I would recommend them 100% even though they might be a bit pricey.

Way too small.
Ordered size 9, that is what I wear, other reviews said they were pretty true to size. But they are not. Way too small. At least a full size. They look nice though. I like the extra lining. I had to return them.

Sizing Inaccurate -> too large
Would otherwise be a comfy skate if the sizing was more accurate. This is marked as a size 8 US but it is really a size 9 or 10 at least.
