Obvious choice
I save my 5 stars for the top of the line.. and venom delivered.. these shin guards are built for work.. soft . Vibrant.. not to mention the obvious they save your shins and foot from improper form lol.. learn in comfort.. their worth a couple extra bucks.. I bought my kids these also for Tae Kwon Do .. trust your family with the best . Not only a user but a parent too..

There is a pretty good amount of padding
there is a pretty good amount of padding but you do have to break them in for your leg. It's not form-fitting but gets the job done

Don’t hesitate- buy these
My son has been training an MMA for a year and has been borrowing shin pads/guards at his local American Top Team. He specifically Requested these and I was leery buying them online and not from an official MMA side but he is ecstatic and said they are perfect and so comfortable. I highly recommend.

Feels great but could be better quality
The clothe near my ankle already started to rip after using it for less than 2 months sadly. Although i am careful in handling them and taking them off. it is a nice and comfortable product for sparring but I think the material could be made more durable around the foot. Would choose a hard cover when I go to buy again

Amazing movement doesn't feel like you're wearing anything
I love these you don't even feel them and you can move so fast unlike the bulkier ones I have from title

Hurts when you kick bone
For the most part these are great, I like them more for hitting the bag than sparring. The snake head fell off one of them day one, but I didn't mind that. They fit well and are comfortable to wear. There is a gap between the shin and foot padding that I could really use. (See photo) I should be hitting with my shin more but head kicks and having a leg kick checked sucks. Good for conditioning I suppose. Not bad for the price if you're just doing light sparring and kicking the bag.

Machine washable
They work and fit well, but I like them best because they're machine washable

Perfect for new kick boxers
Good padding, quick to pull on and off, comfortable, good mobility. Only problem is that they can slide around your calf after a couple kicks and need to be reoriented, so Id say they are best for beginners that are kicking the bag, not sparring, as you cant stop every time you kick your sparring partner to fix your gear. I would recommend them to any beginner.

"One size fits all" has its limits
As a tall man I was a little bit suspicious that these would be too small side despite the "One size fits all" claim. The packaging says they are suitable for people up to 188cm (6' 2") and though I am taller than this I can see that they are best suited to an average height Thai man or European woman. If you are above about 180cm (5' 10") you will have quite a lot of shin exposed above the top of the pad and a good part of the feet exposed too. Size issues aside, they are quite well made considering the price. They are designed to fit like stockings which must cut the cost of manufacture but does make them difficult to get on if you have worked up any kind of sweat. Protection obviously isn't up to the levels of good set of Twins or Fairtex shinguards but then again, these don't cost over £80. I would say these shinguards are perfectly adequate for those who are under 180 cm (ideally less than 175cm).

Perfect for all situations in my opinion
Great bang for your buck. If you're a fan of leather maximum protection this is not for you. For the guys and girls who like the sock style pad and want a little pain this is perfect. Good for bag and kick pad work wont feel anything. At the same time when sparing it gives you just enough without taking away the ability to gain leg conditioning for when you'll need to check kicks bare. I recommend these to anyone at any level unless you want your sparring as pain free as possible. These are good quality and will last longer than any gaurd I have seen in this price range and just as long as the more expensive. My muay thai instructor also advocates these style pads.

Never changing good quality products
I have been using these shinnies since ... forever I feel. they are good, simple and last. 4 years and now they only tore, but that is because I was using them without mercy. the quality cannot be challenged y other companies I feel - perhaps RDX, one of the guys has them and he sais they are fine, but otherwise, everyone is just using Venum now because they last. the price for these shinnies has gone down lately, so I would definitely recommend buying them over other brands, but completely up to your own preference. if you have a tight budget or are unsure if this type of sport is for you, get RDX, they might be cheaper. :) but these you can wash in the washing machine - that's awesome!
