Works for 11 year old with braces
Worked great. 11 year old used the adult size for wrestling without issue. The youth size was too small for him.

My 8 yr old playing Flag football with braces loved it and kept them in!
Perfect my son who had braces. Never had an issue with it hurting his mouth or his braces. I had to cut the back ends a little since he has a small jaw. He is 8. No need to mold them...since they are designed to mold around the brackets. It was a little hard to breathe out of even though it has a center channel for breathing, drink water since it locks in both upper and lower jaw, or even spit out the saliva. He got the hang of It after 2 times of wearing it in practice. It held up back to back seasons. My son said it had a slight berry favor - not sure if that's per design. Hope SO! I would even recommend this to anyone really who wants to protect both upper and lower teeth from a blow to the mouth and cutting their lips. I cleaned it up and storing for next season. Definitely would re order if the storage thing does not work. For these things to work kids really need to feel comfortable with it otherwise some will be distracted from it. He took 2 blows to the mouth (head and an elbow) that I for sure thought would cut his lips with those braces in there....but no issue! The shock of the blow was less too I think. A+++ for me.

Best mouth piece we have found. My daughter plays basketball on a pretty physical team. So the minute she got braces I was asking about mouth guards. The orthodontic place said they would give her one that would be good. They gave her a boil one you get at the store and nothing for the bottoms. So before I left the parking lot I went on amazon and searched and read reviews. I didn’t want something that was going to gag her or she couldn’t breathe in cause breathing is already a issue for her. So I found this product. When it can I was a little worried cause it looks big a bulky. But she absolutely loves it. It fits snug to her braces and the breathing holes provide maximum air flow. Her only complaint is sometimes when she takes it out to get a drink it can tug on the braces.

BEST MOUTHGUARD FOR BRACES!!!
I bought this mouthguard for my 12 year old son and it fits perfectly! I know the youth sizes are supposed to be fit 11- but I didn't want to risk getting a mouth guard that was too big. My son is not small. He is about 5,6" tall and like 160 lbs (maybe bigger...LOL...I can't remember he is just bigger than all the other 6th graders on his football team) and the youth size fits him perfectly! He has braces on all his teeth so we needed this mouth guard! Kaden says he loves the fit and it's PERFECT for him! I had to actually put this mouthguard away to be used for other sports because he could not use it for football due to it not having a strap. So I went back online and bought this exact same mouthguard again just with the strap. So if your son has braces and needs a GREAT mouthguard look no further! These are THE BEST! However if he is playing football make sure to get the one that comes with a strap to attach to the helmet or u will be doing what I did and buying a second one! WRESTLERS!!! You found the one you want!
Was told on a facebook wrestling site called "Wrestlers Only" that this was the BEST mouthguard for braces. We had the one his orthodontist gave him and it was ok, but not great the first couple weeks he used it. My son is 13 and just got Braces so we had to give something a try for wrestling before he got an injury. Someone provided a link to the Shock Doctor where just the mouthguard was $24.95. I plugged the description in to Amazon and got the guard and case for under $18!! So far he has been very happy with the guard. He says he breathes easier through this one and leaves it for most of practice. Get the case too, MUST HAVE! Keeps it clean and prevents it from getting lost.

Customer for life!
This is the only brand we will use. My daughter has upper and lower braces, and so far this is the only one we could find with this design, that's highly rated. It's comfortable and most importantly it works. She is almost 15 years old and the Adult size fit her perfectly. In addition, the company has excellent customer service. We bought one that needed to replaced after 6 months because it began to deteriorate, and they replaced it free of charge. Very happy with our purchase.

Much less expensive than orthodontist made mouth guard.
fits the bill as far as protecting the lips and orthodontia. However - this guard is HUGE. My poor daughter was embarassed enough about her braces, but this thing just was mortifying for her to wear. Alas, she wore it anyway because she understood that they were to protect her lips and her investment (I may pay the monetary bill for the braces, but she's clear that she's investing time and pain into the whole thing). I wish it had come with some sort of case as I can't find one large enough to put this thing in.

My 12 year old son is using it for rugby to protect his brace. He says "it's comfortable but a bit annoying that I have to keep my jaw shut so I can't talk very well" My three star rating reflects the confusing instruction guide and lack of important information and inadequate box. 1.It says " youth size 11- " I took a risk buying this size because this isn't clear what age it goes up to.. It does fit I'm happy to say. 2.The instructions enclosed says boil it in a saucepan then take it out the pan and then "see mouthguard type for next step" but when you read further it says no boiling required. The outer packaging says "no boiling required". This is a bit confusing. 3.There is no information about which way up to insert it in your mouth. 4. The box supplies with it is too shallow for it so you have to squash it to close it. I have had to buy a separate box.

Lo usa mio figlio per giocare a rugby, morbido e non ha bisogno di fare la forma, avendo l'apparecchio sopra e sotto necessita del dual, grazie ai fori anche la respirazione è buona. Consigliatissimo

Seguramente en algún estaba señalado, pero no me percaté que fuera para menor de edad y no para adulto como yo buscaba. Me hubiera gustado mucho más claridad al respecto, máxime que es un producto que por su naturaleza no se puede cambiar o devolver.

Le top, intantané
Aprés en avoir essayé plusieurs (20ans de pratique) cette version silicone est vraiment une petite révolution : inspiration aisé par les orifices, confort immédiat, ajusté naturellement, idéal enfants et adulte. Acheté pour Boxe pour ma fille de 14ans qui porte des gouttières de correction la nuit, Je recommande trés vivement.
