DEFLATED Air cushion for even pressure to relieve tendinitis pain
I have been dealing with tennis elbow for over 5 months. I finally when to the doc and started physical therapy. PT highly recommended this strap and touted how people instantly feel some relief when they put it on. I was so excited to get this in the mail that I went ahead and tossed the packaging away. Wore it for a few hours while watching TV and didn't notice much relief. Tried the next day and not so much. Took it off and examined it and noticed that the removeable air cushion was flat. I got a lemon. I thought about replacing it, but then started reading other reviews that said the same thing. If you don't receive a lemon, I can't imagine it wouldn't deflate at some point after purchasing. I am returning and will seek out a strap with a gel or foam pad. Comfort was just ok. Maybe because I am a smaller women or maybe the strap just felt constricting, but it was fine and I could deal with it if it worked. Disappointed in this purchase. I am sure it works great for those that actually get one with air in it, but I cannot speak to its performance. Hopefully they will accept the return without the original packaging.

Elimated My Elbow Pain
I developed a pain in my elbow that hurt every time I put my elbow down directly on my desk or anything hard. The little cushion gave some lift so my elbow did not sit directly on hard surfaces. I'm pretty sure I just overworked it while doing my weight lifting workout. I got this from Walgreens but paid 10 more for it and misplaced it. I must say this one frayed allot more but I really didn't care since it 10 cheaper. After a period of time of wearing this, my pain went away and I have not needed it. I'm very happy with the item and it did its job for me to help restrain bending, resting my elbow directly on hard surfaces!

It Actually Works! :D
I suffer serious elbow Tendinitis in my left elbow and sometimes in my right elbow as well but more so in my left when cycling. I'll tell you what... I was doing the point pressure for my elbow to relive the pain up until I found this band an similar. I trust shock doctor products because, well, it's what I am use to buying ever since I bought their knee sleeves awhile back. They helped tremendously! Also bought their compression socks for exercising and I don't cramp up! Well, back to the item at hand... It relieved my elbow pain to the point that there is no elbow pain and I can cycle for 10-20 miles pain free. Definitely worth the purchase and will buy another if my right elbow Tendinitis ever flares up.

Comfortable to wear
I'd purchased this support in the local sport's store, lost it and then could not find it locally so tried a different type. I like this support bc you don't need to have it pulled extremely tight in order for it to do the trick. I play tennis 4-5 times a week and don't want to stop to "rest my arm" (I'm 65). I'm also a professional photographer and my heavy camera also pulls on my "tennis elbow" when I'm shooting weddings all day long. I've found the support helps when shooting as well as playing tennis...and it is comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. The other brace came with a warning not to wear it for longer than 2 hours at a stretch (I always felt like I was cutting off my circulation where this one does not give that feeling.) There are several people I play with at my club who wear the Shock Doctor brace and everyone seems happy with it....and we keep recommending it to others who complain about their elbow pain!

Shock Doctor for elbow tendonitis
I like the support the shock doctor strap provides for my tendonitis issue. The quality is very good and provides a strong support fit. I'm amatuer golfer and have been dealing with a nagging issue of tendonitis in my elbow for about a month now. Although I'm still going through physical therapy at the moment, at least this shock doctor strap allows me to chip and put and do 100 yards and in shots without any discomfort. At least I won't lose all of my golf game. I would highly recommend it if you are dealing with golfers/tennis elbow. Hit them straight!

Needed it for "tennis elbow"
I'm a lifter, and I was having problems doing my curls because my right elbow hurt. I don't play tennis, but I needed something in a pinch because it's not like I'm going to stop working out. I started paying attention to how I rest my arms, and it ended up being a combination of how I sit while driving, and how I orientate myself while sitting at my desk working. I changed these 2 things and the paint went away. I'm not a big guy by any stretch 6-4" 200lbs and I don't have large forearms but this thing barely fit. It's small watch out.

Skeptical at first but very pleased
While this product doesn't cure what ails you, I am very pleased with the reduction in pain and soreness that accompanies long walks or activities where you are swinging your arm quite a bit. Wore this around Disney for our trip - 80 cumulative of walking, and very little stiffness in my elbow. I've worn it to work, running errands, cleaning the house, to help prevent stiffness and soreness later on, but it also reminds me not to overload my arm.

Works great.
This has relieved pain from the tennis elbow I have been experiencing due to lifting weights. However, I did stop using it once a co-worker let me know his neurologist told him not to use things like this as it can cause nerve damage.

Comfortable brace, but small fitting
Very comfortable, however there is no way this is 'one size fits all'. At best, my arms are medium, and the velcro just barely wraps around to close. If your arms are average+, this brace won't fit you.

Air Cushion Popped
I found this band to be very helpful, but after wearing for about one month, the air cushion has popped. It now provides little to no support.

Super calidad
Esta es la tercer banda para lesión de codo de tenista que compro. Primero compré una nike que estaba buena, la parte que soportaba el área de la lesión venía acolchonada con material sintético, no era nada fuera de lo común. La segunda la compré en una tienda de deportes y estaba horrible, era una banda con velcro sin colchón. Esta ha sido la mejor por que trae un cojín de aire para soportar el área de la lesión. La recomiendo ampliamente.
