Not the best stitching work

Not the best stitching work. I would have returned them but I need them tomorrow and I wouldn’t get another pair fast enough. I’ll provide an update to this review once I’ve tried them in action. Size M fits perfectly, that’s a great plus. Update after first use - it's really a perfect fitting!!! Felt very comfortable while sparring and didn't affect my movements at all!!! [unlike other products I had tried before]. Not sure how long they will last but so far very happy with the purchase.

Great all around

I didn't think these would last as long as they have for me. They are durable enough and if although it doesn't offer as much protection as some other guards, they condition and strengthen your shins quicker and fit perfect for sparring.

Almost five stars!

I bought these a couple of weeks back for muay Thai class. My gear generally ranges on the cheaper end of the spectrum because I'm on a budget and I'll be honest when I say that my first consideration when choosing these were price, followed up by the overall decent reviews this product recieved. The fit of these pads accounts for the missing star in my review. I have long legs, and the pad doesn't QUITE come up far enough. This wasnt a deal breaker, obviously, as I didn't send them back--I didnt want to wait to get back in the ring! Next time, I will opt for the XL, perhaps. We'll see how these fare after a few months. As far as doing what they're supposed to, they work great. Just the right amount of padding. I can still feel my shin connect with the target, which is important, imo. Too much padding makes you sloppy bc you feel you can send your kick anywhere with no repercussions--it makes bad habits for when you get in the ring. Just my opinion, but there ya go. Overall, I am pleased. If you got for these pads, just double check the size before adding them to your cart.

They lasted about a year and there starting to tear up on the seams but they are still usable

They are comfortable but tear up Simi easily but I still use

Comfortable with protection

I bought these for my heavy bag at home. It helps to avoid cuts and bruises. These are well constructed and comfortable. I'm a big guy 6.1 210 lbs with big calfs. I purchased the large. There is no restriction and I can really go at the bag. Great value for the money! PS I purchased size large black.

Brought me back in time!

This is a very good product for all martial arts practitioners, I tried them last night and my shins dont hurt and I could kick my pushing bag with strength but not the same speed as I used to when I was in my 20's and weighing 83 kg. Not too bad for an "old" guy like me with almost 51 years and weighting 308 pounds actually. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT specially for security guards like me.... ;))
