Padella assemblata in Cina..

Great pan with one major issue
I bought this pan years ago and use it regularly. It’s wonderful however I am considering replacing it. The center of the pan is slightly convex so your oil runs to the sides away from your food. That means no matter the amount of oil your recipe calls for, there will always be the same little amount that the pan allows and the rest goes to the sides. So you can’t poach with the pan without using more oil than should be necessary. Food is also drier. So if you’re going to be using his pan for sautéing or poaching then that’s always going to be a problem but if you’re using it for something like stews then it’s great.

I love this pan. It cooks well and is a nice large side. I love that I can see through the lid.

2 year update - bizarre warping
We usually love these pans, we have purchased 3 of them so far. This most recent one we’ve had for almost 2 years exactly, and today we realized the lid no longer adheres to the skillet properly. We tried the lid of another same skillet, also doesn’t adhere. Looking closely at the pan it looks like it is warped somehow and now the lid does not go on properly and there is a huge gap in a few different spots. We’ve never put it in an oven or anything, strictly stove top use. Very bizarre issue and concerned about future purchases from this brand…they are not THAT expensive, but they are not cheap either.

This is a fabulous pan, especially at this price
I like the extra handle AND that the handle is protected from heat. The glass lid is helpful to see food progress. It does not have steam holes—you can easily put it on partway for steam release—but that means you can cook like a tagine, water returning to dish. The high sides make cooking for a group doable, AND they keep fats and oils from making a big mess. Fried eggs don’t stick. Easy to clean. This is a great pan

Great saucepan
This saucepan is terrific. I bought it because I was looking for a deep, non-stick (not Teflon) pan with a lid. I’ve only used it twice but am super pleased as it has met my needs completely. The size is great for one pan suppers or to mix pasta and sauce/fixings together — lots of room so I don’t spill onto the range top! The main handle is sturdy and easy to hold and the helper handle makes it even better. The lid fits nIce and snug. The non-stick surface is great although I haven’t tried it with eggs or anything delicate (not what I will use this for). Heat distribution is even. This saucepan will replace my recently purchased All Clad 3 quart sauté pan (yes really) which was a huge and expensive disappointment. Nothing bad to say......great saucepan for a great price. And shipped quickly!

A lovely saucepan
This is a fabulous saucepan. The biggest selling point is that it is PFOA & APEO-FREE, which basically means it has a non-stick coating, which is not harmful like Tefal. I was able to find a PFOA frying pan, griddle and a stockpot from Wilko for a very good price but I couldn't find a large saucepan, which led me to look on Amazon. I stumbled on the Ozeri pan and it is lovely. It is heavy with a sturdy handle and includes a lid with a lovely shaped handle, which fits nicely in my hand. As a bonus it includes a thick felt pan protector, which I think is a must for when it comes to stacking. Follow the instructions for cleaning and seasoning. It comes well boxed and is perfect for gift giving. My first use was to make a bolognese and I was nervous that the red sauce might stain the 'stone-derived' coating but it rinsed right off. The key to keeping these types of pans looking new is to always use MEDIUM heat. It does take a bit longer to heat up and brown but patience will keep your pan looking new. High heat will scorch the coating, mistakes I have made with other 'stone-coated' pans I have owned in the past from Lakeland. I think this is a lovely pan. You can see the German made quality from packaging to product. I truly hope it will last for years. Eventually when my Wilko pans finally wear out or I get bored of them I will be replacing them with Ozeri Stone Earth pans.

Heavy, but worth it.
It is a bit heavy but manageable. I love it, it cooks beautifully and cleans really easily. My only downside is it's a bit big for my dishwasher, but it does clean easily.

It's a great pan...when it finally stays on with induction.
I'd give this a 5 star because it's an awesome deep skillet...but...I bought it because it's "induction friendly". The issue I'm having is that when I put it on the burner to match it's size, the burner comes on and then goes off after about 3 or 4 seconds. Repeatedly. However, when I put it on a smaller burner, it stays on, then I have to turn on the larger burner and slide it across the stove top. Yeah, you're just as confused as I am. Maybe the "induction area" isn't big enough to match the size of the bottom? I don't know. But once it gets hot on the smaller burner, it then seems to work when I slide it over. It's a bit of a pain to START cooking in it, but once it does start, it's an awesome pan. It's sturdy, deep, non-stick...and I just love that! The extra handle makes it easy to lift and hold. It has a great tight fitting lid with a small vent for steam. I just wish it didn't have the start-up issue.
