Didnt work at all
I tried all four that came in the pack and they don't do anything. The needle never moved while I was cooking the steaks.

Works great
I purchased this thermometer in 2011, and it still works, 8 years later. You can choose between Celsius or Fahrenheit. It's simple to use, and I haven't had any issues with it. EDIT (8-18-19): About a month ago, the battery in the thermometer died. I did not replace it, because I opted to buy a new thermometer with a faster read time and some additional features. I just wanted to give an update to add the battery lifespan.

Everyone should have a meat thermometer
I bought this on the 4-for-3 sale and have been very happy with it. We BBQ a lot and I am always worried that the meat isn't cooked thoroughly, so this gives me piece of mind. I do like the on/off switch which is great IF you remember to turn it off. I'm afraid that I leave it on more often that not, but luckily the battery continues to live. I think the other reviewer might have just received a faulty unit and could have returned it for a replacement instead of trashing it. I give this 5 stars because I can't think of anything I don't like about it.

Handy little for grill heads
These little thermometers are handy at cookout time. They're well made, register the temperature fairly quickly and are pretty darned accurate. When I use these my steak is done just the way I like it every time (very pink, not bloody). If they could be left in the meat during the cooking time they would get five stars. Bottom line, they do exactly what they are supposed to do!

Great accuracy
This thermometer works great and quickly. However it doesn't have an auto-off function, so it is easy to leave it on for an extended period of time, which you must be careful not to do. The only error is user, so it's a pretty good product. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who can remember to turn it off.

Sturdy!
I recommend these thermometers!! You get four in the pack. We've been using them for quite some time, they work well and you can leave them in the oven if you wish. They are designed with a short neck on them and an easy to read display. I do not see these breaking down anytime soon due to their simple design. Overall I would recommend these. Thanks!

These are ok it says you can use them while BBQ so I did when I checked the indicators were way up to well done but when I removed them and placed them back they registered under rare so it's a bit annoying and they list by rare medium well done not by temperature there ok but not great

Tempermental
These are o.k. once you find the right approach to using them. They have to be inserted at just the right angle and all have to be in exactly the same position on each steak to ensure accurate readings. They are very hard to read and it is easy to overcook if you aren't watching closely. To get desired outcome take the steak off the grill when the thermometer reads at least 5 degrees under desired finishing temp. All in all they're not bad - although would prefer a more readable face.

Not very durable
I overall loved this but it dropped once and broke to where it wasn't able to be repaired, so from me i think the durability could be better.

Do not work as it says they do. You poke it into the steaks and dose not read anything.
