Good Looking Clock - A Bit Small - No Second Hand
This is a nice looking clock which definitely adds a retro feel to the wall you hang it on. It is all plastic except for the glass lens and is very light but it's a simple clock so you don't need heavy duty materials to make it useful for telling time accurately. You just have to be aware that this is a clock which is designed to "look" like a retro school style clock and it does. After the "look," however, any similarity to the real thing ends. From the description I imagined it to be more like the size of old school style clocks, but this one is definitely smaller than the originals. The width of the actual face is about equal to the length of a normal paperback book with the black edges sweeping out about another 1/2 inch or so all the way around. This is probably about 2/3 of the size of a more authentic school style clock. Do not get this clock if you want to use it to dominate a larger open wall space, it's just not big enough to take visual control. This clock would be ideal for a smaller open wall space like a kitchen side wall. It is also important to note that this clock has no second hand so if you are using a wall clock to time things like how long you can hold your breath or cooking a soft boiled egg (or whatever) this clock will not be much use to you. Bottom line, for the price of this clock I expected a little more than what I received, but it's a clock and we can find some use for it anyway.

Be Sure of the Color First
The clock appears to be a soft, pale yellow in the photo, but it is NOT. It is a light, very bright, almost neon green: a TRUE chartreuse. If you are in any way unsure, go to Google images and a plethora of chartreuse items and color samples will appear. That aside, I needed a clock of this style, size, and weight for my kitchen. The frame is plastic and the lens is glass. My 1920s kitchen is completely tiled from floor to ceiling, so I cannot hang anything from the walls using nails. Also, this clock does not tick. Ticking irritates me. So far, I am happy with it.

looks good, feels cheap
The sides are lightweight plastic, so the clock feels really cheap in your hands. That said, it keeps time perfectly and looks great. I used two of these on the walls with a sign that said "here" and "there" to help me keep track of the time difference when my boyfriend was in Afghanistan.

Color is not true to picture
I like the overall look of this clock, but I was disappointed in the color. I ordered the yellow one, and It is not the same shade as the picture. It is a little brighter and in my opinion an ugly shade. I plan to paint it (if I ever get around to it).I have had it for six months now and it works fine.

Weird color face
Nice clock, well made and has a cool look. Just be aware that the face is a very very icy white, almost with a bluish tint. It looks odd against any white with creamy or yellow undertones.

I like it
Clean, classic design. Fairly quiet. Glass face. Check the size---it was a bit smaller than we anticipated but still good.

Cute clock and it works great.
Very cute clock with the retro look I wanted. The sides are made of plastic but it has held up well traveling around in my camper so I think it will work out fine.
