Stellar PFD!

So, I did a ton of research and reviewing of kayak PFD’s in a similar price range and am so glad I got this one. I’ve used it about 8 times on my SUP in the past month and a half and love it! It’s so comfy that I forget I have it on. The arm holes are cut so as not to interfere with paddling and maneuvering. The built in safety whistle is handy and I like that the vest has a lash tab (I clip the whistle to it or my knife). Easy to zip up, lightweight, high viz color, and cool to wear due the the netting. I only wish it had one more lash tab and perhaps more room in the pocket but it’s one of the best small investments I’ve made for my SUP adventures. I’ll also admit: For vanity reasons, I didn’t want a bulky PFD (I know, silly) but this one is just too comfortable that I no longer care. And honestly, it’s less bulky than others and def better looking than a traditional boating PFD. Plus, the cut is short, making it not bunch up around the waist. Highly recommend!

Great life vest

Great life vest used for kayaking last weekend. Front has most of the bulk and easy to sit without riding up (due to lower back panels of mesh instead of foam) in seated kayak. Adjustable shoulder and side straps. The only downside is the lack of larger useful pockets. There is one small zippered pocket on the front that includes an attached plastic whistle. Would have been 5 stars if there was a larger pocket for cellphone and/or sunglasses. Overall, good price, good buy.

Worth it!

This is great! Very comfortable. I am a big guy and do long distance trips. The fit, easy of movement, and quantity are excellent. The price is just right as well!

Exactly as described

These are great vests. They fit snugly and don't ride up like traditional life vests. They are super easy on and off as well.

Great for kayaking

Purchased this life jacket for kayaking. Works well, very comfortable with the mesh lower back. Lots of space for arm movement and it doesn't ride up. One complaint, I must be between sizes. My chest measures 38". Following the chest measurement chart, I bought the M/L and to fit properly, I had to tightened it to the maximum. Maybe I should have purchased the XS/S.

Great fit

This jacket offers full arm motion for canoe and kayaking. It is lightweight, has mesh for coolness and a back that lets you sit comfortably in boat. Especially love that it is tailor made to fit over a womens chest but still come to to fit the waist. Very adjustable. Choose one size up, I have broad shoulders and am athletic, usually wear a medium in clothes purchased a large with perfect success. Delivery was prompt and all was perfect. Highly recommend. Satisfied customer

great for kayaking

Purchased another kayak, want to have enough gear for both boats .So i ordered another one of the same vest, great for kayaking ,lots of movement, lots of room under the arms, doesn't "ride up your back" .Lots of adjustment. Might be a bit bulky in the front but that doesn't bother me . Guess I want to float if I flip. Reasonably priced.

Unisex but approved by a large-chest female

Comfortable and light. Seems like good quality. Great for paddle boarding so far, I’ve only done a bit of sit-down paddling. I don’t even notice it’s on while paddling now. When I first put it on I was worried, because I realized it is NOT female specific and it did NOT fit my body well. However, I was able to read some advice, adjust the body straps, then the shoulder straps, and it’s now very comfortable and secure. The way the chest floatation pads are put together, they can be adjusted downward to leave room for a larger chest. My only gripe, which is why it lost points, is that there is no strap wrapping all the way around the body - only the zipper holds it closed. There really should be a secondary way of securing it in case the zipper breaks. I paid 120$ Canadian so am a bit disappointed by that. I’ve also floated on my back on it for why-not and it felt good, like I said I have it adjusted so it doesn’t shift. Most photos on here show a very unsafe fit - if you can pull the life vest up, it’s not secure, it is an anti-safety device. If you’re wearing this for safety, and not just to adhere to laws, it HAS to be snug around your ribs/lower torso, especially if you have a large chest - having it tight around your chest will NOT you. Watch some videos or something about proper fitting.
