Tree stand

Works good and still using it

This is an essential item if you intend to sit on tree stand for prolonged time, it’s a little noisy to open and set up, but I think this can be managed with repeated use. I suggest setting it up on the ground prior to going out on your hunt. Otherwise so far so good

Well built but still has issues

So the overall construction of this umbrella is very impressive for the price. It is built very well and seems like it will stand the test of time. That being said I do have a few complaints. 1st- the straps are too short. I am using this for deer hunting while in a ladder stand so I usually choose trees that are good and strong and I can barely (if ever) wrap my arms around them. The straps for this umbress are only useable if the tree you are in is no bigger than 16" across. I had to add about 3 feet of webbing onto all three of the straps in order to get it secured to the tree. The 2nd issue that I have is that the top side of the umbrella is camouflaged but the under side is black. I suppose this means that any deer flying overhead will not see me but to the ones approaching on the ground, this sticks out like a sore thumb. 3rd issue, it's a little difficult to get this thing strapped onto the tree so it's definitely not something you want to bring in and out of the woods every time you sit. Only time will tell if it will survive the wind/rain/snow that we get here in upstate NY. I still give it 3 stars because of the sturdy construction and the fact that I am dry as a bone as I sit here writing this review in a rainstorm.

Great product after some modifications.

It flopped around too much and the stabilizing straps were obstructive so I got rid of all straps and modified the way it is attached to the tree with three old tent poles that I attached to the eyebolt on the top of the umbrella to form a tripod that is attached to the tree. The flap that normally wraps the tree and connects to the support strap is now wrapped around the tree below the umbrella providing a dry spot to lean against. The cool thing is it's more stable now and it still fits in it's carry bag.

Great umbrella

People complaining about “holes” in the fabric don’t know what they’re looking at/talking about. This is an amazing product. Held up to 2” of solid ice. It comes with a harness to attach the front corners to your tree stand to prevent blowing, I ended up buying a pair of adjustable snaps hooked to Para cord to really dial in tension on the front hooks. I would absolutely trust this sucker out all season long. Going to buy several more for next year. .

Works pretty well on rainy or very sunny days

The umbrella takes some time to put up and you will need to reach pretty high for the top strap. I would put it up ahead of time rather than waiting until it is raining. Also, I found taking along a couple of extra, long bungees to stabilize it better is useful. Once stabilized it holds up well and offers good cover.

Works like it should

Gets the job done, keeps you dry. I wrapped it up in some camouflage mesh and she’s ready to roll. I would suggest they make the straps that go around the trees longer for the bigger trees because I did have to improvise there, but other than that she worked out good!
