Great stuff!

This stuff is exactly what you buy off the shelf. Not sure what the other people got who gave it a bad review, but this bottle is identical to what was purchased from the store last year. Smells like a flowery coconut, it's oil not thick or Jello like. I have a super hard time tanning my legs. I've bought dozens of expensive lotions and sneak my wife's super dark black magic miracle XXX tanning whatever, and it works everywhere but my legs. This cheap old stuff works best for me. Put it on before I mow the lawn, and a few hours later my wife is jealous! She can't use it because of nut allergies... More for me!!! Lol

An old-time favorite

If you’re blessed with some melanin on your skin and quickly tan without burning, then this is for you. I’m originally from Cuba and have always loved the consistent dark tan my skin used to have while I lived there. Now living in NY for many years, I find my skin lighter than I identify with, so I love a product that can quickly bring back my natural tan while still protecting my skin fairly well. The coconut scent isn’t too overtaking. It can actually take me back to my days at the beach in Havana and Instantly puts me in a good mood.

Do not use with white clothing!

This product is great, however it stained my white shorts, my bfs white shirt, and my white bathing suit which looked more cream after a day at the beach lol. Thankfully it came out of everything with a little dawn dish soap. Be careful when wearing light colors or avoid white at all costs when using this product!

Tan without Burning

This tans your body a nice bronze look, no redness. Dry oil is moisturizing without being too oily. I would not stay out more than 3 hours with this since it’s only SPF 6. I also suggest you have a base tan before using this product.

Good value for money

I can’t yet comment on how well it helps a tan since I just received it yesterday, but will update in time. Love the smell, was nervous seeing all the other reviews of chemical like smell, but mine smells amazing. I think it’s a good value for what I paid, easy application, and as far as moisturizing properties I’m impressed. Put it on yesterday around 3:30, took a shower that evening and as of right now at 10:30am the next day I can still smell it and my legs feel great. Even my husband noticed.

Heavenly

Applied this every half hour when I was abroad & I have fair skin. Worked wonders & came back very brown. Only issue is if you don’t like oily products this won’t be for you.

Öle von Hawaiian Tropic sind nicht mehr das, was sie mal waren.

Ich bin in Nordamerika in den 80zigern aufgewachsen, und habe die schönste Zeiten meines Lebens an Stränden verkauft. Der Duft von Hawaiian Tropic Sonnenöl (sowie das wunderbare "Ergebniss" am Ende des Tages) war ein wesentlicher Bestandteil großer Sommerfreude. Daher habe ich diese und andere Bestellungen gezielt auf Öle, Cremes und After-Sun ausgelöst. Zugegeben, ich bin älter geworden, und es ist bekannt, dass die Sinnesorgane mit der Zeit nachlassen. Aber das, was hier verkauft wird, ist NICHT das, was ich aus meiner Kindheit kenne. Ganz im Gegenteil! Der üble, künstliche Chemiegeruch beisst regelrecht in der Nase. In der Öffentlichkeit würde ich dieses Öl jetzt NIEMALS tragen! (Der Sonnenschutz "scheint" aber gut zu klappen, und aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie bin ich sowieso nur auf dem Balkon.) Ich bin entsetzt und frage mich, wer bei Hawaiian Tropic die Entscheidung traf, die Rezeptur so ekelhaft geändert zu haben. Er/Sie sollte zur Rechenschaft gezogen werden. Fairerweise muß ich erwähnen, dass ich auch vor kurzem diverse Sorten SonnenCREME von Hawaiian Tropic kaufte. Hiermit bin ich absolut und vollends zufrieden! Aber das Öl? Never, ever again!
