Very tough, big zippers on the main compartments. Shoulder straps could be a little more padded.

I like the construction of this pack it is plenty big for what I need, shoulder straps could use more padding. I am very pleased overall.

Ogio is always top tier!

Best backpacks for traveling and durability! Fits right under the seat of an airplane. This will last me at least 20 years and I'm confident of that.

The perfect business travel bag

After searching for a replacement for my old warn out backpack I tried multiple backpacks from samsonite, Thule and Tumi but could not find a bag that had ample storage, comfort, and that could accommodate my wide shoulders. One thing I truly never appreciated about my old backpack was how my back rarely sweated when wearing it. When using other bags I found them to get hot quickly. The Gambit stays nice and cool and allows for ample breathing (no more backpack sweat stains!). I own 4 pieces of Ogio luggage and they are my go to when I travel for business or leisure. The gambit backpack is full of pockets and space. I travel with a personal and a work laptop (HP 15” and a MacBook Pro 15”) and they both fit perfectly in the laptop and main compartment area. Even with both laptops inside, I still have plenty of space for my iPad, folders and other items I may have when traveling. I love having the crush proof pocket for my personal items and ample small pockets for misc items. The padded shoulders and back make for a comfortable travel item when it’s loaded down. The luggage pass thru is convienant in the airport or when wearing a suit. Overall this is one of the best backpacks I’ve owned and I’m certain it will continue to impress for years to come. Pros: Backed by Ogio’s Lifetime Warranty Stylish but functional Comfortable Tons of pockets Fits large and multiple laptops Quality zippers and craftsmanship Great value for comfort, quality and durability Cons: Large bag if you are a small person Noisy (lots of zippers so they are constantly hitting each other, very minor con) Not the cheapest bag on the market

Perfect.... for somebody. Not me.

I have a Targus backpack that I've been using for as long as I remember. It has a "padded laptop compartment". On my last trip, I hung it on a door in the airport, and it slipped off, fell about 3 feet to the ground. My laptop shattered it's screen. It's obvious the laptop struck one corner, hard on the floor, and missed any padding in the backpack. Ok, so since then, I got a really nice replacement laptop, and I've been looking at a LOT of bags to replace my old one. The criteria is that it be able to protect my laptop from a drop. Face it, bags get dropped. I want a backpack that can save my expensive laptop. I found this bag in a local office supply store. It's a dream come true. The laptop storage pocket is fully suspended in air surrounded by several inches of potential padding (socks, shirts and even the structure of the bag itself). There's just no way it could ever strike a corner in a fall. Never. But when I got it home, I found my 15.6 (standard sized today) laptop would not fit. On the laptop storage pocket, it's labelled "SMALL" and it is exactly 9 inches wide. This implies to me that there must be a corresponding "LARGE" and I simply needed to find the correct size. So I returned it and came here to Amazon where I found this bag clearly labeled as "LARGE" and it describes the laptop compartment as: -- Dedicated fleece lined top loading laptop compartment fits most 17” laptops -- Laptop Dimensions: 20"h x 12"w x 1"d The Laptop pocket (again labeled "SMALL") is only 9 inches wide. I contacted the seller and they informed me that there is only one size of this product manufactured and they all say "SMALL" inside. So what I take away from this is that OGIO consider the entire compartment to be where you'll stow your laptop, and IF you have a tiny little 9 inch-wide SMALL laptop, they graciously added an additional pocket inside that compartment for you to secure it in. It's this duplicity and vagueness in this item description that has prompted so many of these reviewers saying their laptop's don't fit. So why not just shove the laptop into the big overall compartment? Well there is little to no padding, and it's certainly not "Fleece lined". So the very reason I got this, for it's awesome laptop pocket, (protection) is exactly why it isn't what I was looking for (protection for my 15.6 inch laptop). If you have a Surface or something, this might be the best bag out there. Otherwise, it might be the worst. For me, sadly, I must return it.

If you like lots of pockets...

This is my second OGIO Gambit backpack. The first one I had and used daily for more than 5 years. This one appears to be made of a higher quality material than the first. I run a business and use this daily, when searching for a replacement I looked up many different packs and came back to the Gambit for the way I use it. It has many many pockets and each of the bigger compartments also are divided including the large laptop compartment which is perfect for also holding paperwork. I rarely wear it as an actual backpack but on the few occasions I have it fit just fine and had enough room even after my regular daily items to put some clothes in for an overnight. Great backpack, you will not be disappointed if you like pockets and multiple places to stash your things.

Great purchase

This backpack was perfect for my middle school child. The extra cushioned shoulder strap and back makes it much more comfortable for the user to carry all those school books. It is well made and I can see my child using it much longer than for this school year. It will last the day-to-day wear and tear kids put on their backpacks. Great buy!

Great Pack for the $$$$

Very nice pack and seems very sturdy. At first glance it seemed as the Laptop sleave seemed small. It fit my 15 inch Microsoft Surface 3 Laptop perfect. I travel 4 to 5 days a week for work and this has been a great investment. The pack has a lot of comparments and makes organization a breeze.

Excelente inversión por la calidad

Los materiales son excelentes, la cantidad y tamaños de las bolsas son geniales. Tiene soporte lumbar y tiene una correa de seguridad para amarrar al pecho. Mi laptop es una Dell Inspiron 17 por lo que no cabe por completo en la bolsa destinada para laptop pero si en el compartimento. Llevo prácticamente toda mi oficina en esa mochila. Resultó una excelente compra.

Troppo grande

Io ho ordinato la versione 20cm, mi è arrivato lo zaino con le dimensioni 50x38x27 ma non capisco se è la versione da me ordinata o quella 50cm. Mi sembra troppo grande per essere la versione 20cm

It did look like a good bag but OGIO employees need to learn ...

After reading reviews and even contacting the manufacturer about the size and being told it would fit my laptop it didn't. So I ended up wasting $40 dollars of shipping. It did look like a good bag but OGIO employees need to learn about there products.
