Married Combat Naval Officer veteran and happily married. I want to follow up on my initial 4-star review and modify it to five stars. Pros and Cons of the mattress. I will preface this by saying I will as a combat naval officer and veteran give a follow up one, two-, three-, four- and five-year review. Le's save some time and discuss the cons, so far, there are none. The reason why I gave an initial 4-star review is I was afraid that it would not expand fully, as seen on the second picture. Not to worry, if you call the company's US office, they will explain, it says 72 hours but after 24 hours, sleep on it so you can activate the cool gel and it will properly expand. They were correct it expanded and as you can see in pic one, it is not uneven, and it is 10 inches. Caveat Do not get the 12 inches, get the 10 inches. The 12 inch might seem nice, but it is medium plush, I prefer medium firm so I can have good back support. the 10 inch is medium firm, which is perfect, not too soft but not too firm. Pros 1 Price. Some expensive models like Dream cloud or Temer-Pedic, can go for starting at over $1000 and up to $4000, which is the price of a down payment on some cars. Even without Amazon prime, it will only set you back less than $400, I believe I paid $359 and without prime it is still $370, with free shipping. My wife's CA king was on promotion $2500, normal price $4000. 2- It arrived in a timely manner, and it inflated after a couple of days. 3- It is a perfect fit for my bedframe. I thought it stuck out half an inch before, but I did not properly center it. 4- My fiancé likes to turn in her sleep, but I do not feel it that much when she does so I get a good night's rest, when she comes over to stay the night. 5-The COMFORT. This is one of the most comfortable mattresses I ever slept on. Most are either too soft or too firm, there is something wrong with it but this mattress is the one. You should not compare this to a top of the line $4000 mattress, you have to compare it to other mattresses in the same price range, give or take $100. It stacks up well with the expensive ones. My wife has a $2500 California King Tempur-Pedic Mattress, and she gave compliments on mine. Of course, the $2500-$4000 mattress will have more bells and whistles. For example, on my wifes one, you can adjust the firmness on both sides of the bed so one partner can be on 75 and the other can be on 70. To get a mattress that is under $400 and get a similar quality of one that is $4,000, that is a good buy. If it is good enough for my fancy Bulgarian American fiacre, it will be good enough for yours. Yes that $25000-4000 one might have more bells and whistles but if it is good enough for me and my wife, then it is good enough for you. I do not leave too many five-star reviews, I usually leave 3–4-star reviews because I ALWAYS find something wrong with the product like, it is priced too high, or the product is too short. I had no issues with this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a mattress. If you are reading my review, you are looking for one. Rest assured, I will give a 1 year up to 5-year update because another pro is they said 5-year UNLIMITED WARRANTY and 10 years limited. If it lasts 5-10 years, then I will be happy. Say goodbye to back pains and sleepless nights and throw away your grandmother's spring box mattress, on bulk trash pickup day!
