Comfortable

Bought these for my 10 year old son. He absolutely loved them. We went on an early spring 3 day 2 night camping/hiking trip and it ranged from the low 30s at night to mid 60s during the day. He stayed warm and dry in them and raved the entire trip about how comfortable they were. He did have an adequate hiking sock for this and that makes a world of difference as well. We put just over 15 miles on these boots over the 3 days. He generally wears a size 5 but is growing quickly. With the heavy sock we opted to buy a size 6. They fit well and he had no rubbing issues. Hoping to get at least a full season, maybe two out of them but hard telling as fast as kids grow. We had no lace or eyelet issues as mentioned in some of the other reviews. Time will tell but as of right now, I am very happy with the purchase.

Boots are nice but run small so I would go up half a size

These run a little bit small got a 7.5 fits like 7

Stiff for little feet.

Cost was very reasonable. The boots are very stiff for my four-year-old grandson. I hope he is in them long enough to break them in. I like to look. It's going to take him a long time to get him broken like Grandpa's

Not waterproof as advertised

Boots looked great, fit excellent but after a morning hike through grass covered in morning dew, the boots were soaked and left my kids feet wet down to the socks. No rain, puddles, just from the dew on the grass. I was surprised and disappointed. I really wanted to lime these boots as they looked good and priced affordabily.

Great boots, did not last long

These boots were great, they fit as expected, are water resistant, and kept my sons feet warm. However, we were looking for a long term product, something that could last my son though this next year of Boy Scout Camp outs. They did not last this winter. We got them Oct 21st, by December the shoe laces started to shred and chunks have fallen off. Then by late Jan the sole of the right shoe started to fall off. So, if you're looking for something to last a few months, keep the kid warm, and are water resistant than this boot would get 5 stars. If you need a product that will last your kid until next season at least, this might not be the boot you're looking for.

What did I order 800 grams or 400 grams? Conflicting info on product.

So we are always looking for a good hunting boot that's not a Winter boot. My son outgrew his size 2's we just ordered a size 3, He wore them on a November Elk hunt last year and he loved them. Nevada mild weather. My big question is What exactly are the boots. His size 2 say 400 grams on tounge tag. The size 3 do not. The box says 400 gram rated to -40, and the tag says 800 grams rated to -65. What is right the box or the tag? Pictures included.
