This is a fantastic value
At under $20, this was an excellent price for a 4-hook bird feeder pole, but imagine my delight when it also came with FOUR bird feeders! I don’t have them all up at the moment as I’m cleaning them, but since adding this feeder it’s been covered in Cardinals, Chickadees, Blue Jays, Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and some I haven’t even identified yet! Keep in mind that the feeders that come with the pole aren’t great quality, nor are they designed for larger birds (except the suet feeder and mesh tray). The general seed feeder is very thin plastic that I don’t anticipate to last long, and my Cardinals are too big for it, but the Chickadees and Nuthatches like it because bigger birds don’t bully them off of it! The pole and feeders are not squirrel proof either (hence the slinky hanging on mine!) and the squirrels will shimmy up and clean out a full feeder with ease. I wasn’t anticipating that this was squirrel-proof or came with feeders at all, so it’s still a better value than I expected. The pole holds up well for birds, but it’s not really designed for bigger animals, so be sure to drive the stake into the ground well or it’ll start tipping over when you get a squirrel raid. Mine was not in far enough, but I realized I must have hit a rock so I moved it a bit and drove it in further with a rubber mallet. I piled some bricks on top and now it’s sitting straight and sturdy. Happy with this purchase.

NOT 600 pound BEAR Proof.
NOT BEAR PROOF. He weighed 600 pounds. I LOVED the Stand but a Bear Destroyed it. Now I take my Bird & Squirrel Feeders in Every Night and put them out every morning.

Good value and easy to set up, but is it the sturdiest? No
I started getting into bird feeding late last year when I bought a plastic bird feeder at a pet store. Due to immediate problems with squirrels by hanging the bird feeding device on a tree, I decided to look for a pole that I can set in my yard and pair it with a baffle. I looked through various products and most of the poles I saw on Amazon did not come with the additional bird feed accessories that this does. This product did – it’s definitely a nice plus, don't get me wrong. Most of the other poles in this price range don't come with the bonus feeders at all. Except for the one single bird feeder that I am using, along with the one I purchased before, I am not using the other feeders but it’s up to you. Design wise, this pole is very easy to setup and you just need to tighten the winch on the segments. I could have done it without the instructions. So big kudos to the manufacturer for making it a relatively light-weight pole, easy to assemble, and still tall at 7 feet. However I have two major comments on the design. One, the small stake next to the main pole at the bottom that stabilizes the whole thing is quite flimsy. I found it easily bends, and almost broke it off when trying to drive the whole pole into the ground with my foot on it (based on instructions). You should not put your foot down on it to drive the pole into the ground unless you already have made small holes in advance. I took a stake a mallet and did that so the pole would drive easier in place. After this, I was able to install the pole into the ground no problem. Second, the small winch is short enough to the ground that my dog (who is very food motivated) got her harness caught on it. The 50 lb dog thrashed around and got free, but not without a lot of seed scattering everywhere and the whole pole collapsing. I now had to tie a small tape around the winch screw to ensure nothing else gets caught in it in the future. Apart from the two items mentioned above, a solid purchase and I would highly recommend. My baffle fits well on the 1/2 inch diameter pole and have kept the squirrels away, while enjoying birds come visit by backyard. Just be careful if you have a pet!

Lots of fun in the backyard - the birds love it!
We set the feeder up within minutes, and it's nice and sturdy. Love that the tray is height-adjustable; we put it low to the ground for the ground-feeders, and fill it with mealworms and cracked corn. The chickadees and finches like it best at this time of year (winter in Minnesota), but in the fall we did have two different kinds of woodpeckers who visited frequently. We HAVE had a squirrel who has figured it out, BUT we don't mind and I think it's more to do with the placement - we put it next to a stand of pine trees and he climbs out to the ends of the boughs and jumps to the top of the bars and then hangs upside down :) I don't know if he could do that if it was just the post with no trees nearby. The reason I took away one star is because we've determined the feeder with the tiny holes (mesh) is basically useless. It's meant for thistle seed/nyjer, which finches are supposed to like, but they don't touch it. Maybe it's just because they like the food in the other feeders better, but we did notice that if we sprinkle the thistle seed on the ground, the chickadees and finches do eat it, which leads us to believe it's the feeder, not the seed. We plan to replace it with a different type of feeder in the spring.

Missing the thistle tube feeder
The pole seems like good quality and overall I am pleased with the purchase however the box seemed to have been opened before and it had two peanut tubes and no thistle tube which was the main feeder I was wanting. I tried to have the issue fixed through Amazon but the only option was to return it for a replacement which isn't worth the hassle when all I wanted was to be sent a thistle tube feeder which is why I am only giving this 4 stars.

Looks nice, works well, poor quality
Bought this to attract more birds for the cats to watch. Works well overall and looks nice, but be aware the build quality is poor. Pros: - reasonable price - looks nice - multiple feeders and you can hang your own Cons: - not squirrel proof. You need to add a collar like in the picture I included. More $ - poor quality construction. The support arm is poorly welded. It will break off once you move the pole a few times to cut the grass. It almost broke the first time I installed it. - rust. The cheap paint will chip when you try and tamp the base pole into the ground. I used a piece of wood to avoid metal to metal and the paint still flew off the pole. Now it is rusting already there and where the support broke off.

I like to watch the birds on it
The tray was damaged The small black mesh feeder was missing the washer that holds the handle I don't think it's worth $80 But would like those damage pieces replaced Thanks

pole ok but feeders very small
You will only attract small birds with these feeders. They are only big enough for chikadees. The cardinals and blue jays didn't seem to be able to get to the seeds (except for the tray of course). I changed them all to get feeders for bigger birds and now I get all kinds of visitors.

Great value for the money, sturdy feeder
This is the best value I could find anywhere for a feeder of this type. To install it I waited for a day after there was a lot of rain and the ground was wet. I used a thin stake and hammer to create a hole where I could insert the spike of the feeder and with a some effort and care it eventually went in all the way. I have had it for several months now and it is sturdy and has worked well, with no problems even on windy days. The thistle feeder attracts goldfinches daily. The suet feeder has attracted chickadees, siskins, a robin and a few other small birds. I made a squirrel baffle from a PVC pipe with a cap and it is over 3 feet long so I did not use the tray feeder that was provided. Instead I replaced one of the four top feeders with a large tray feeder and added a rain cover. I fill it will safflower, striped sunflower seeds and a few peanuts. That feeder has attracted doves, cardinals, rose breasted grosbeaks etc. and stays dry even in heavy rain. I filled the other tube feeder with sunflower seeds and it works but does not attract many birds. The beauty of this feeder is that you can change feeders at will (I recently added a hummingbird feeder) and use various seeds to attract the types of birds you want. All of the parts are of good quality. I highly recommend this feeder.

Great setup but you have to work at it!
I liked the first one so much I bought another a month later. However, you really have to sturdy the poles onto the ground and the smaller part of the fork tends to bend easily and break the weld. Also parts started rusting that same week so I have to buy some black Tremclad to paint those sections to protect the metal. I inserted the poles into the ground and then a plant pot, then soil but I’m thinking of perhaps going with quickcrete to sturdy them further. I’ll see next spring if they’re still standing lol! I’m not using the feeders. They’re cheaply made and small. I’ll probably repurpose them with soil and small plants, and hang them up outside somewhere. I’ll recommend but only if you realize you have a bit of work to do now and in the future with rust issues.
