My third in a good way.
Was sent a Micro 900 (as indicated on light itself) inside the package of a Micro 850 (which I ordered). Seems to work well on low beam. It is my third 900 as I like to have backups for night riding and can keep the extra mounts (that work well for me) on various bikes. Even on the low setting it is pretty bright for riding on a city trail with two-way bike traffic, so need to use finger or rotate it downward to "dim".

Bright, unreliable mount
The mount clicks and appears to be secured. But from time to time, I find the light on the ground from no apparent force. Light is bright enough to see road, but that was never a problem thanks to street lights. Battery is good enough for about 2-2.5 hours of operation after 1.5-2 years of use.

Small, powerful light with a defuser lens. Good mounting options.
I selected this light for its defuser lens, which spreads the beam sideways. That's particularly helpful for me when I get caught out on a winding trails at dusk or night. If I were to do planned night rides I would probably add a second light atop my helmet, without a defuser. NiteRider model selections include with and without a defuser. The compact Micro versions such as this one are well suited for helmet mounting. The light is sufficiently bright to be effective at the middle brightness setting. The battery life has been more than sufficient for my needs, but I haven't done any multi-hour night rides and I haven't used it enough to get a good calibration of the full battery capacity. The clamp style mount that comes with this model seemed to work, but only barely for my small diameter handlebar. It looks vulnerable to tipping under the jarring of a rough trail ride and its rigidity doesn't work well for clamping to a tapered section of a handlebar. Also, it's a bit bulky. I prefer NiteRider's rubber strap mount, which I purchased separately. It is very solid on my bar, with no tendency to tip. One of the reasons I chose NiteRider was the availability on Amazon of alternate mounts that can be purchased separately. That's reassuring to me. I recently retired a perfectly good Kryptonite light because I lost the mount and could not replace it.

Battery has degraded 50 percent in two years, it never lasted as long as promised.
Long term review: My complain is about the battery. I bought the lumina 850 and its battery did not last as much as it claimed. Customer service was amazing and they exchanged it for a lumina 900 (the one in the picture), as the representative told me that they were out of stock for 850. With this supposedly newer replacement, I have the same problem, the battery is not up to their promise. As you can see from the image , it claims to last 2 hours on high intensity mode ( very similar claim to the 850). I bought this lamp on 2020, and we are in February 2022. I use this lamp about once a week for most weeks except summer time that there's enough daylight. So even though I have been using it for about two years, I only use it for an hour per week. that accounts to about 60 - 80 uses so far. Today I decided to use my stopwatch to see how much it lasts on the highest setting, it lasted only one hour and three minutes on high luminosity ( 900 lumens). That is almost 50% less from what manufacturer claims. Not only that, I have records from the same test on march 2020, and the lamp lasted an hour and 47 minutes, that was when I just bought it. So you can see that even as a new product, it never really fulfilled the promise of 2 hours on highest setting. My guess is that manufacturer is cutting costs on battery, as we are in 2022 and there are great lithium technologies that can last much longer and won't degrade the battery life as quickly. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say. As long as you learn to live with a degrading battery. 900 lumens are plenty of light ( very similar to 850 lumens), it will let me roll even in the darkest streets with confidence. As the battery is shrinking capacity, I have learned to use the medium setting (450 lumens) on slightly more illuminated roads and I save the most powerful setting for the darkest parts of my route. Beware that it will not last 2 hours, I trusted them and it was a mistake as I had to finish my route in very dark conditions and of course I had to slow down a lot. This is not the first review that complains about the battery life, their amazon page seems outdated and they are still offering 2018 and 2019 models as the 'latest' so my guess is the owners are not any more invested into progressing their products. Not sure if I would buy again from them.

Let there be light
Bought it for this woman I like???? mounting system fits on the helmet it was bright and it lasted the entire bike ride without dimming. She was very pleased with it! Might have to buy one for myself now.

I ride my bike all over the Bay Area, and had this light before, but this light seems to have not much battery life left. I do not use it all that much but when I will charge it before leaving and it will last on bright only a couple hours, assuming I dimmed would last longer, but,, Yah run a bright light at night on city streets or commuting.

Excelente compra
El sistema de bloqueo es una excelente idea para evitar de que se encienda sola. Tiene un brillo excelente. Sali un día con la batería baja y lastimosamente no me ayudaba mucho la intensidad de luz (Con batería baja casi no ayuda) Pero gracias a su sistema de parpadeo pude finalizar mi recorrido nocturno dado que parpadea con su máxima intensidad y la batería dura más. En una emergencia te beneficia bastante.

Great light for a great price
I lost my last bike light and found the exact same one for name half the price . It's really good for not t riding. Highest beam is good for off road and low to mid is great for on the road. Flashing does the job in daylight in the road. Really good value.

Great light but if you go down dark lanes get two
Brilliant output for a tiny light but as I said in the title if you ride very dark country lanes and ride for an hour or more buy two and keep them on the first or second setting.
