Bright light, not intrisically safe
The product is not intrisically safe. It does not fall under class 1, division 1 or 2. When I saw the q and a, i saw someone asked the company if it was intrisically safe, they said yes. If it was, it would be on the product stating the class and division safety.

Upper echelon!
The Lightning multifunction is sublime. Being able to have a bright and dim light becomes handy in certain situations. Moreover the wide light comes in handy when you are trying to comer more ground. And it still holds its bright power! Working in the flight line with pilots at night becomes hard because there is little to no lighting. And shining a bright light into the pilots face is the last thing you want to do. Here is were this headlamp separates itself from any and all competition; green and red flood light. Amazing. Press a button and you have the red flood light. Perfect if you're face to face with a pilot. This headlamp is upper echelon when it comes to is bright power, usability and ease of use. A must get in any situation or in a workforce.

Wonderful light at a great price
This is one of the more powerful head lights out there. I ride a three wheeler into the woods before daylight and this light works great. The main thing that I like is that where ever you look, the light is there. Also, I like the flood light for loading up my equipment in the dark. It also has the red light to keep from destroying your night vision. I've shown this light to a friend that has to look after horses at night and he as soon as he tried it, he had me order him one. I've also ordered another one for myself. I've tried a lot of head lights in the past and this has to be one of the best ones out there and at a very reasonable price.

Awesome hunting light
I bought two of these for hunting and my son and I used them the other day. We both loved them! I used the green to walk into the woods and then after in my tree stand switched to red. The white light is bright also if you ever need bright light for some reason. Adjusting the angle while walking was no problem. The headband has a rubber material on the inside to help with grip on your head. Nice addition because you don't have the band supper tight so it doesn't slip down your head. Thinking about getting a couple more for backups and when the daughter and wife go hunting with use.

I love this light
I love this light. I lost my first head lamp to salt corrosion on a sailing trip. This one is more durable. I have had mine for about a year and use it regularly with a hat. I love the soft green light. It is not as hard on the eyes of those you meet. Be careful in your purchase. I bought a similar Nightstick model for less for my wife thinking that it had the green and red lights. It did not.

Bright light! battery life seems good too. I've been using it a couple months now and haven't had to change the battery yet. I use it for work and use it A LOT. I use it on my hardhat. The only thing I wish it had come with is a rubber strap. The elastic one that came with it wouldn't stay on my slick hardhat. Luckily, I had a rubber strap from another nightstick headlamp that I had previously.

Comfortable and bright!
I bought this to help me with my photography (Red light is helpful), also for my dusk and dawn walks in the woods. It works great and I love that it telescopes. I find I use it at home a lot too, i turn on the red light to check on my baby while he sleeps in the crib! haha definitely not it's intended use but the light is enough for me to see without disturbing his sleeping.

I have used this product for several days. I'm working the night shift and it has been really helpful. The only problem I have had is the the power button to turn on the light is temperamental. I have to push it 5 or 6 times for the light to come on and sometimes it works as it should. I don't know if the one I got was defective. Sometimes I don't have time to be messing around with the button, but it's my only light source.
