STOP! This is all you need!
Amazingly great deal and super customozable. First those asking about size, this will fit 99% of people out there from smallest to largest other than largest 1% of chest sizes. I wear 50 inch sport coat [actual chest is approx 48 inch & I have very long arms] and this works very well for me. The separate wrap strap is 52 inches when not used but it [& rest of brace] stretches and has velcro on both ends of the strap so you do not need have it wrap onto self. Sometimes I stick ends to the brace. And I am wrapping that strap around then outside of injured shoulder arm. Brace is SUPER COMFY & ADJUSTABLE! Even with just one "good" arm, pretty easily I can get it on alone but you might need be clever depending where you are using it & which end start with. Of corse if have a helper ther really easy to put on. I NEEDED NEW sling since both slings I got from MD [one free & sadly had to pay for other] after my rotator cuff surgery caused NECK MUSCLE SPASMS due to single strap design pulling on opposite side neck. Double crossing straps on this are wonderful & easily can adjust how tight or loose fit you may want. Plus very easy to velcro a pillow [or I use a memory foam travel beck pillow] with this sling as well as I sometimes use just the pillow part from my doctor provided sling together with this. This is so useful I'm likely buying more as it also works great to hold heat or ice pack in place and more than just shoulder. So useful can improvise using this or part or it for virtually anywhere on your body! STOP SHOPPING, BUY ONE OR MORE OF THESE NOW AS THIS IS ALL YOU NEED! Save money but more so enjoy all the ways you can use this.

Barely fits a tall person, good thing he is not heavy.
The wearer of this sling is 6'4" and the straps do fit him, just, and not as pictured. He's wearing it for a broken collar bone. People complain that there are no instructions, but it is really easy to figure out if you look at the picture and the product. In the picture the back straps come around under the arm and attach to the front. On the tall guy, the straps were nowhere near that long and had to come around under the arms to attach from the sides. The chest strap works on him (suit size 44) but the overlap was maybe 2". The issues he has with this sling are that it is pretty warm, not breathable, and is somewhat stretchy. There is no elbow cup so the upper arm is not directly supported, only the forearm. The stretchiness provides some give and therefore less secure support. The cloth one from the hospital had no give, and we used a cloth belt for added support across his chest. That combo seems to support better than this sling, but the cross back of this one is much more comfortable around the neck, than the over-one-shoulder one.

Exceptional Comfort and Great Support
I lead an active lifestyle and my left shoulder has suffered the most from my lifestyle. I had shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff tears and multiple surgeries on my left shoulder, which I had one just recently. I used many sorts of shoulder slings, I found this one to be the best, ever. I used have problems with the comfort offered by slings, or the lack of support, or other peculiar design faults that made prolonged or continuous use of slings problematic. This one does everything right. First of all the double-strap design that goes over your neck is brilliant. The wide bands, along with the double straps tremedously reduces the pressure applied to your neck. The additional strap that goes around your shoulders greatly increases the support on your shoulder, keeping it immobile, and I attach that strap around my shoulders, or underneath my arm at one side if I need extensive use of my right arm, or ignore it completely if I need minor support. The overall velcro design makes it possible to adjust the strength of support applied, allowing great flexibility. I am also impressed with how comfortable this sling is. Other slings I have used eventually irritated my skin, or caused a rash, and even caused tears due to sweating and the thin bands used on those eventually cut through the skin. The material used in this sling is great! It sits comfortably on my body for a long time and breat extremely well. That means less sweating and discomfort. I did not experience irritations on my skin even after hours of use. I definitely recommend this sling, having used multiple supports of this sort, this one I found to be the best.

Finally something that works as Intended
I recently had a rotator-cuff surgery, the surgery was fine but the recovery was a nightmare. I could never have imagined that keeping one's shoulder immobile would be such a painful task. Until of course I switched to this Soles arm sling. There is one peculiar aspect of this item that I really like. It is that IT ACTUALLY KEEPS YOUR SHOULDER IMMOBILE! Seriously, the extra strap that goes around your shoulders, or one shoulder along your chest, provides powerful support to my shoulder and actually keeps it immobile. I do not even understand why the other arm slings are designed the way they are, they simply cradle your arm, they do not support your shoulders! I have been using this while sleeping, outside, or working. And since I switched to this shoulder immobilizer, I began to feel that my shoulder is ACTUALLY RECOVERING. After two weeks of use, there is a huge drop in the amount of pains I had, along with aches here and there, and I can extend my shoulder to a greater degree now. Aside from doing what it is supposed to do, this immobilizer is very comfortable, lightweight, hangs on my neck easily and does not make me sweat like crazy, so that I can actually wear it while sleeping. For me, it is a great product, done right.

What a complete waste of money!!!
What a complete waste of money!!! I had rotator cuff surgery a week ago and bought a second sling so that I could wash the one from the hospital. Also I wanted one I could put on myself when I have nobody to help me. On first wearing it fitted nice and I was pleased. However, after an hour I had to readjust as it started to come loose. It also started to ‘bunch up’ after a couple of hours. I noticed the next day that it started to go nobbly. I washed the sling (as per instructions) and it washed ok. It does keep my shoulder to my side if I keep readjusting. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money as it wasn’t cheap.

Worth every penny!
Having dislocated my shoulder and Broken it in 3 places just three days before flying to Croatia, getting the bus to the port and the ferry to Hvar I was in a good deal of pain and not sure I could make the journey. I would have stayed at home but the journey was for my youngest daughter's wedding. It was bank hol weekend so didn't get to the fracture clinic. The only support for the arm was a collar and cuff made in A&E. it all happened on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday I went on Amazon and ordered this immobiliser. It arrived on Monday. It's not easy to get on at first when you are in pain but the relief when the shoulder is padded, splinted and immobilised is immense. I was able to make the journey, enjoy the wedding and help the recovery of my broken wing! The down side is it gets very hot. In the high temperatures of Hvar this was definitely a negative - like walking around in my own personal sauna! However that is a small price to pay for the comfort and security this device afforded me. I ordered 3 types of sling. The others were no use to me. Had I had time to trial them I would have got 2 of these. I am ordering another so there is one on and one in the wash. If your shoulder is broken put up with the sweaty feel because this is the best device!

Can be worn comfortably for longer.
A little expensive, and it took a little getting used to but well worth the effort. It spreads the load far better than a standard sling and can thus be worn comfortably for longer.
