Satellite Images are lacking

I bought the Platinum Version that includes Satellite Images. Thought being, if I can see a drop off and tie it to land structure, like a dock for example, it'd help with ice fishing to be able to walk over to that approximate location. When zooming into a lake of interest, the Satellite images are fuzzy and of poor quality. Then, surrounding the lake I'm interested in, the images stop and the map simply displays text noting it as "wooded area". In Hindsight, I should have saved the extra $35 bucks and gotten a cheaper version. Can't see myself ever using the satellite images. Satellite images are not Google Map quality. They are much less detailed and fuzzy.

Replacement functions well in helix 7 chirp si gps g2

My card is non-functional in my Helix 7 CHIRP SI GPS G2 model running latest software (2.00). I have run troubleshooting with both Hbird and Navionics and come up empty. I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because Navionics has approved an RMA and is going to exchange the card for me to see if the card is faulty. I will update my review accordingly after this final step of troubleshooting is complete. UPDATE: Navionics sent a new card and everything works perfectly. 5 stars to Navionics for customer service.

Lake mapping for finding the hot spots

Hello this is Captain Terry Ulman from Kick-Ass Outdoors. I use GPS and Lake mapping to find the best spots for putting people on fish. This is the best mapping I have used thus far. Thank you Navionics and thank you Amazon for making my job a little easier.

Good, but without the versatility I believed I was going to get.

I purchased this card for a Lowrance Elite 7. The data, the card, the "community update" all worked well. So... if you need a more detailed lake map and your lake is included.. this is the card for you. The reason I am quite disappointed, is that in other online articles, videos, etc. they showed people accessing the navionics pc app, and looking at those lakes and making waypoints, routes, etc, and then downloading them to the card. This would be ideal for planning a trip to an unknown lake. Pick fishing holes, camp sites, whatever from the comfort of your pc, download them to the chip and have them available then while using the map on the boat. This apparently (after quite a bit of research and navionics tech chat) is no longer an option, unless you have a Raymarine plotter that it will sync with. So if I want to add some pre planned fishing spots, or other waypoints, I have to sit in the boat at the dock and scroll around the map and then manually enter them. If I am wrong here I would greatly appreciate someone pointing out how to do it. (ie get waypoints etc. directly written to the hotmaps card while viewing the map on the card).

That micro card is inside the SD card at bottom.

This product was what I needed! Just had to look closer to the SD card to see the Micro card! My apologies to my rash report earlier!

Lots of room for improvement.

I'm a bit disappointed. Bought for my Lowrance Elite ti7. Additional contour lines not all that great. Hard to search for locations. No labels for reefs (freshwater). They really need to make it so you can take the card and work with it on your computer. I still need paper map to plan trip and hope that I can find it on the locator when I get there. My Garmin unit had better maps that came with the unit. Glad I paid $170 and not $200. My opinion is the value is $75, not $200.
