Beautiful just beautiful!
This is a review for the solid navy blue Baird style blanket. This same review is posted for the Nautica Navy blue and white Chevron blanket but I washed and dried both blankets the same way. I'm a Nautica freak and I can tell you the quality of the bedding and blankets has not gone down one bit! I wash my Nautica blankets by themselves and dry them by themselves and dry them very slowly on low heat. Take your time with these and I promise you will have a truly amazing piece of bedding. The shedding is a lot yes but that's what you get with 100% cotton products. Cleaning out your lint catcher through out the drying process ,I clean mine every 30 min when drying a blanket and wipe down the outside from whatever moisture and lint gets on the machine. Simple as that . This blanket is absolutely gorgeous. For the price, this is a Nautica blanket you would really like if you're a fan of Nautica. The stitch work is impeccable and the only 2 snags I found were ones where they finished the stitching and not really snags just end pieces from the knot. As soon as I received the blanket I washed it on the gentle cycle for delicates with cold water. I then dried it on the low setting for delicates. Yesss this blanket sheds, I cleaned out my lint catcher constantly through the drying process . The blanket is medium weight and takes a long time drying on the low setting. Every 30 min I repositioned the blanket and did this until fully dry. I'm telling you it's worth it washing your blankets this way especially for good brand blankets. My blanket out came out perfect and beautifully soft. If you're not willing to clean out your lint catcher a few times in-between and not willing to allow your blanket to slowly dry for 2 hours then don't waste your time writing bad reviews for something you had total control over. Stop being lazy or don't buy nice things!

Great blanket.
It breathes but keeps you very warm. Has a nice weight to it. Not too heavy. I don't like weight on me while I sleep but this is a perfect compromise. Definitely recommend this. Can be used on a bed or as a throw while on the couch.

Sturdy, soft, generous size
Very nice knit blanket for mid-weight warmth. We use it on top of the duvet to keep pet hair off. Good price, nice color choices, will be buying a second one.

Comfy, but several loose threads
Blanket sheds a lot of loose thread. It is the perfect weight/thickness for layering under a comforter in winter, or as warmer weather blanket it gives just enough weight so you feel covered from drafts and not "exposed". I like something heavier like this blanket even during the summer simply for the little extra hug it provides when nestled in for the night. Wish it didn't have so many loose threads.

Less than happy
You definitely get what you paid for. Found during initial wash this Nautica Home blanket was not colorfast ( the color ran in color water) and needed to empty the drier lint screen three times (packed with fluffy blue fiber) Once on the bed, found the weave snags very easily. This blanket has the appearance of an old, faded used one after one wash and has yet to be slept with. Do not recommend.

Nice but delicate because it is open weave
For the price this is a decent blanket. Item sells for higher prices on other websites. Note that the weave is very open so it will snag easy with cat claws, non front load washing machines with agitators, etc. The weave is nice looking but reminds me of how throws are weaved. Wash on delicate cycle and if you get a loop pulled out, used a crochet hook to pull it back to the other side. Most products these days aren’t designed for long term use, this is one of them. Also for the people surprised with how delicate looser weave cotton blankets are, that is why they are so airy and breathable, think of it like a sweater.

Love It!
This blanket is super breathable yet warm. Perfect for almost any night of the year. It did ship with a few loose fibres but it was nothing my scissors couldn’t handle. The colour is nice too.

Beautiful but thread does pull
Beautiful blanket, perfect navy blue but the thread does pull/catch easily. Light weight blanket, definitely not to be used for warmth which is what I needed.

An awesome blanket !
The blanket washed well. And will be washed many more times. We’re using it to cover our couch. We have two kittens and the blanket will help keep the upholstery on the couch cleaner. Love the colour!
