leaves behind great skin texture
I enjoy touching my face after using this. It feels clean and smooth. After seeing some reviews mention it leaves behind stain...especially on towels, I've stuck to using this during showers. It makes for a longer shower, but good results. I don't notice any residual stain on skin, though.

Fruit-Tox Resurfacing Facial Remedy
This Fruit-Tox Resurfacing Facial Remedy is a nice mask if you need to exfoliate and brighten your skin. It can be used as an exfoliator and as a facial mask. You just apply it and leave it on for a minute or two. I like to use it as an exfoliator and rinse it off right away. This facial remedy is a bit harder to wash off than my other exfoliators but it does work really well. After I use this, I can see a difference in my skin. My skin is softer, smoother and brighter!

Good product you may want to try it
The directions recommend applying the product to damp skin. This scrub is an orange paste and when applied it is the color of iodine or red mud. Due to its vibrant color, it is easy to know when all areas are covered as well as knowing when you've removed all of it while rinsing. The product has a grainy, sandy texture so I did not apply it too close to my eyes since that skin area is very sensitive. Just to clarify, while some exfoliants feel gritty and sharp, this has a more granular feel and does not feel scratchy like some of them. I guess a better way of thinking of it is it is more like the difference between fine grain emery boards versus what a coarse grain is even though it is not quite like that, the point being it doesn't leave scratches all over you like some do. Also, several reviews mention it takes effort to remove it from your face, while this is somewhat true it's not like it is that hard to remove, just allow extra time and wash your face a little more thoroughly before drying as it might leave residue on the towel (again, just be a little more thorough is all, anything worth doing is worth doing right in the first place). After leaving the product on about one and a half minutes, I rinsed my face with warm water. My skin felt a bit warm and taut, but the patches of my dry skin were no longer visible. Afterwards I applied a serum so that my skin would retain the moisture. I was apprehensive about using this product because my skin is fair and sensitive, but I had no issues after using it. My face was a little red for a short time, but red like you just rubbed your face not red like you scratched it. The price point is about average in my opinion, and I will likely buy more when this runs out as I know it isn't harsh and does the job and is therefore not quite the risk of spending as much or more per ounce and not knowing if the other product works. I recommend the product and will continue to use it weekly. It does not take much for each application so the tube should last quite a while and therefore has decent value.

I was excited to try this facial remedy out, as the idea of using natural fruit enzymes on my skin sounded amazing. Unfortunately, my experience with this product was not as great as I had hoped. I did a patch test on the top of my hand near my forefinger and thumb. I found that the formula was much too rough for my skin. I struggled to remove the product from my skin without feeling like I was scrubbing too hard. Even after removing the product, there is still a light orange shadow of where it was. The facial remedy did leave my skin feeling smoother, but it also left my skin feeling a little sensitive, which was not the result I was hoping for. I did not feel comfortable enough to try this remedy on my face. While this product was not for my skin type, it could be okay for yours. Side note: this product has a faint but harsh citrus-y smell that lingers.

Soft and bright
I have mixed feeling with this product. Applying it is fun, but washing it off is a nightmare. Messy and very difficult to get it completely removed from face. Not good for people who doesn't have time or not liking to do such things. I can't remember how many times I washed my face just to get the orange color completely removed. It gets to a point that I am sort of frustrating. I want to see the result, so I didn't use face wash to help me cleaning it off. It will definitely be much easier to clean it off with face wash. My face was feeling soft and looking bright. It is too much work for me.

Exfoliating and Bright!
After doing my patch test, I used this resurfacing product as a mask per one of the choices from the instructions. I applied it and left it on for 10 minutes. The instructions state you only need to leave it on for 1 to 2 minutes before rinsing it off,but I got busy and couldn’t get back to it. Oops. I have to say I really hope this product works because rinsing it off was indeed challenging. I rinsed and rinsed and then used a light colored washcloth and rinsed some more. I really thought I had removed it all, but when I dried my face, there was orange/red coloring on my towel. So now I’m just massaging it into my wet face and rinsing it off in the shower and yet there is still some color on my towel. So it wasn’t the fact that I left it on for 10 minutes. I thought it might’ve been my fault. It seemed very gritty, so I imagine it exfoliators well, but I would recommend having a little extra time to get the color off your face. I’ll see if the volcanic pumice does a good job of exfoliating my skin or if I never get this color off my towels. Laundry day is tomorrow so we shall see. i’ll update if the color does not come out in the wash.

So far, so good!
I decided to try this after being sick for 2 weeks as a little self-care "detox". I used a synthetic makeup brush to apply it. The consistency is gritty which is great for exfoliation but, be careful as you are applying. I didn't realize until after I roughly applied it but, that was totally my fault! If you have sensitive skin like I do, be aware and maybe try a little bit at first. The mask washed off nicely and didn't leave my skin feeling extremely dry. I can't speak to any results just yet but, so far so good as I did not wake up with any pimples/breakouts like I usually do after trying new products. So far, so good!
