Adhesive wears off when sweating

Works fine unless you sweat a lot. Used it for wrapping my foot while training. The adhesive would wear off when sweating at the end of the tape for had to re-wrap a couple times.

Usually sticky but not this time

I usually buy Mueller tape for my gymnast daughter and it works fine but for some reason this package I received looked the same but the feel if the tape was a little off. The take was soft and squishy and it doesn't have it's usually stickiness. Comes off easily which is not good for un even bars. Unfortunately, it's too late for me to return but maybe someone can read this and double check your tape before it's too late to return.

Great athletic tape

If you coach any competitive sport, then you might as well break down and purchase a whole bunch of these rolls of tape. It could be one of the most important items to have in your bag on game day. I also suggest that every coach learn the proper way to tape and ankle or wrist because at some point you are going to have to do it. This athletic tape by mueller is the perfect tape for all of my athletic taping. This tape is the type that is easily torn across the top as long as you do it correctly the first time. If you do not tear it correctly then you will probably need scissors or another blade to at least get it started. Once in place, this tape stays in place like you would expect. I normally remove it from the kids using a set of taping scissors. Before wrapping any tape around the kids, I also suggest using a pre-wrap to keep from stripping them of their skin and hair. I did not receive any discounts, compensation, or free products for my review. These statements are all my own.

Mueller tape, good alternative to J&J

Opted for this tape due to good value and decent quality tape. I want more than 1 roll, but I don't want a box of 70+ either. This is a good choice to get a reasonable amount without spending a fortune. This is the main reason I bought the tape. Product appears to be genuine Mueller product. I have not experienced major issues with the adhesive the way other buyers have had. Overall I still prefer J&J brand as the tape feels better to handle in my hands. This tape feels a bit gummy when tearing, but isn't a major issue. It provides adequate stability when I use it to tape ankles which is my most frequent tape job. I like to have a roll with me when I travel and in my wilderness first aid kit. If money wasn't a consideration, I would get J&J, but the Meuller tape is suitable for my needs and I'm pleased with it's overall performance.

Tough, sticks to itself, pretty good all-around

Seems pretty good so far. The tape is thick and robust, I wore it while hiking through some pretty dense, prickly undergrowth and it seemed to resist damage even more than clothes. Doesn't tear easily by hand, but I was start a strip with my teeth without any difficulty (just bite the edge of the tape, tears right off, easy-easy. Stuck to itself for days, even when exposed to 20F temperatures for hours - in fact, it was easier to cut it off than it was to unpeel it. It didn't become too clammy, but I was using the Mueller pre-wrap (M-Wrap). I was using it in the winter, for my wrist and taking it easy, so I can't comment in whether it would hold up in the summer under stress and sweat. But At present I'd probably recommend it.

Burned My Skin

Adheres well. Easy to work with, but, I don't know what they are using for the glue but within 90 minutes my leg was burning/stinging real bad. So much so I couldn't take it. I had to peel the tape back from where it was hurting and two big areas were burned, skin gone, bleeding and burning. Other parts of my leg had red lines where the sides of the tape were. It is still scarred in 2 spots on my leg. The product seems like it would work quite well but that aghesive is horrible and has to go. That should not happen!

A bit high on cost,rest product though

Awesome option when ya can't eat to the store. I thought the price was high.... considering the amount that you re required to buy. Great product as far as performance.

Strong and adhesive

I have had this tape for 3 years. It took that long to use all 6 rolls. Just tells me I don't ride enough. The adhesive side stayed sticky and lasted all the way through using the last roll. It was stored outdoors in my horse trailer as I used it as an adhesive to keep my horses riding boots on. Worked great every time through deep mud and creeks. Never lost a boot. Stayed adhered to horses hoof most times even when I removed the boot.

Garbage! Wrong product info!

I am really surprised that such a garbage tape has such a high rating! I bought it because of those stars but I am telling you, the quality of this tape is horrendous. It does not stick at all. I should say, there is no stickiness at all. It is like a piece of cloth with no adhesive. It is basically a ribbon!! Also, the product information is wrong and misleading. First of all, it says the tapes are 15 yards long; but on the package itself it is written that the length is 10 yards. In addition, it is claimed that the tape is easy to tear. Oh boy, it is NOT. I had a difficult time to tear a piece. Overall, not recommended. Don't waste your time and money. Today, I got a pack of 4 high quality tapes with a length of 25m from Canadian Tire for only 7 bucks!! They are great and I recommend them strongly.

Not 15 yards - only 10

Item description clearly says 15 yards, but rolls are only 10 yards in length (check the product photos). I selected this one due to the better value based on total length - now I only have 67% of what I though I paid for.

Used it to wrap my ankle and right from the start it didn't stick. Worst tape i've ever used, total waste of money.

The tape doesn't stick

First, the person delivering the parcel just threw it to the front entrance from at least 7 feet away, without ringing the doorbell. From my door bell camera, I could tell the parcel had been sitting there in sub-zero temperature for at least 4 hours. I am not sure whether this has anything to do with the tapes not sticking. There seems to be little glue on them, so they keep falling off my finger.

Might be better for your use

For my use - stabilizing a weak ankle while trail running for hours at a time - this tape didn't have the longevity I required (like other athletic tapes I have tried). It is great for about 1 hour but after that it loosens up. So for MY use it wasn't satisfactory but for your use it might be just right if you are using it for short periods like playing tennis or soccer but not hours and hours. On a plus side, easy to remove, no sticky residue etc.
