Good Tape When In Need!
I live in the desert so hockey stores are far and few! This will work for most players for a few games. It is a little thin so I had to replace mine every other game, but I’m a defenseman sooooo what can you do!

Good handling hockey tape - grippy and strong.
Been a while since I used this kind of tape and it definitely benefits you to have a scissor to get a clean edge, rather than tearing it. I used it to put a grip on a Cold Steel Bushman - one wind from blade end to hilt and then another wind back down to the ricasso - much better than bare steel. I started out with a paracord wrap, but it was slipping, since the bushman has a tapered handle, so I taped it and liked the feel of the tape better than the cord. Don't be fooled that it isn't like putting on gorilla tape - the adhesive isn't that sticky. It's best to hold the free end down until you capture it with the first wrap, and then you're good to go.

Fixed daughters hockey stick perfectly.... and also fiancé’s glasses ????
I was pleased to see this came in a 2 pack, since my fiancé and daughter both have needs for it. My fiancé started playing hockey, so he’ll need a roll for himself and our daughter has mini hockey sticks, one of which broke and was my main reason for buying this tape, so we could fix it for her. Also good for taping back together glasses. My fiancé’s glasses leg broke in half and he used the tape to put it back together after several failed gluing/duct tape attempts. Best thing for fixing glasses ????

Alternate Use for Great Product - Excellent Grip!
I bought this tape to put on my manure forks. I wear gloves while doing barn chores, and not all gloves have a good grip for holding onto slick handled forks. With RA in my hands, I was getting sore while gripping too tightly. I have tried using VetRap as a grip on the pitchfork handles, but the sticky wears off, and it starts flapping around and coming off. I got the idea to try this after watching a baseball game, and seeing the bats had tape on the grip. This definitely is just what I needed. It was easy to wrap about 2.5 feet of the handle so I can grip it no matter where I put my hands. I have plenty left on the first roll to wrap another 2 or three forks, I think. The fork no longer slips and rolls around on my hand, and that makes my chores so much easier! I might try some on my garden tools as well!

Nothing special but it works for me!
The thing i hate most is when part of the tape sticks to the roller as your taping your stick! This tape has not failed me yet! Still pretty new at taping my stick, but the times I have this tape makes me happy. I wish it stayed down better to itself, on the blade it sticks great. But if you go against the tape once your done it peels back very easily. I've tried using a puck and the tape roll to smooth it out so it won't do that, but do far no luck. Overall I'm happy with this tape.

Works well - could be grippier
Good grip tape for slick fixed blade knife handle scales, but it could be a bit grippier. Adheres well, stays in place, and provides additional grip support for your knife when doing heavier tasks such as chopping and batoning. Ideally, I am looking for grippiness somewhere between this tape and skateboard tape. Wiil try another brand in the future, but for now I am pretty happy with the A&R Hockey tape.

Tool handles grip
Cool idea. From Rob Cosman came a revelatory recommendation. Use hockey stick tape to provide more grip to hand tools. Used the suggestion and now finding tool handles to adhere. Wrap once, twist tape into a string, wrap around handle and then a cover wrap. No extra bulk, but more “holding” power.

Perfect for making a solid grip
Bought this tape because my kali sticks had glossy paint on them making it difficult to hold on to them when my hands sweat. It worked incredibly well and looks fantastic. Theres no sticky residue or strong smell and it grips well withojt being to rough. Great value.
