Quality material, great price!!!

The quality of this feels great! Haven't tested it in water, as we bought it for a costume. Really like how the sleeves and part of the legs are thinner like a rash guard! I think that would help with comfort and mobility when it is worn in the water. It does gather a little weird in the crotch area but it could be like that because it is unisex. It would be helpful to have a girth measurement added to the size chart. A 10 fits my 9yr old ok she is slim and short. A 12 might have fit in the girth better. Will update if we use it in the springs!

Good quality not itchy.

This short sleeve, short pants style is great for boogie boarding. We got a size 12 for a tall thin 8 year old and it’s perfect. Right now they can wear a regular pair of swim trunks and short sleeve rash guard underneath. It’ll fit great for the next two years without having to struggle to get it on. The neoprene after 4 wears is good and keeps this kid perfectly warm in cooler ocean water or even a chilly swimming pool. The spandex part is very comfortable too.

this is a 2mm NOT 3mm suit as indicated in the description.

False advertising. Its a 2mm suit not 3mm. my 7 year old is wearing a size 8. he is almost 47" tall.

Bought this for my 4 yr old grandson - WOW!!! Great product at a GREAT PRICE!!

i HAVE ALREADY WASHED IT SEVERAL TIMES. IT FITS FINE AS PRINTED ON SIZE (6) AND I RECCOMMEND YOU WASH IN COLD WATER AND AIR DRY.

Smaller than expected

This wetsuit has a very designed with a cheap material, and I did return it to get the proper size. And later one, it was ripped under the arm. I truly did not want to set time aside to return it again and get sth else. And I would advised others to get sth with much better quality. Maybe I was unfortunately, but I have had many of them. So far this is the worst I have had

Here is the sizing chart

It's often difficult to buy a wetsuit on line because every manufacturer uses different sizing. I ordered a size 10 for my daughter because her size 8 Neosport wetsuit was too small. I couldn't find her a Neosport wetsuit in a size 10 at an affordable price on Amazon. This one looked good but since Amazon doesn't list the sizing chart for this manufacturer, I hoped it would fit. When it arrived, noticed it was just about the same size as her current wetsuit. Based on the sizing chart on the tag, she is at the top end of the size range for the size 10. I would have returned it for a size 12 but it's not available on Amazon in a size 12. She loves it. It only fits her because the arms and legs of the suit are Lycra and therefore stretcher than neoprene. She'll get a few months out of it then past on to her younger sister. I'm posting the sizing chart in hopes that it helps others. My advice to check the manufacturers website for their sizing chart before buying a wetsuit.

Tricky sizing, for sure!

I bought a size 8 and 10 because I didn't know which would best fit my slim 9 year old. She's 60 lbs. She could fit in the bottom part of the size 8, but I was too short for her torso. The 10 fit her torso, but the legs and waist area were just a bit too loose. What I do like about this suit, though, is that the legs have an elastic fabric to them, with some give, so it's likely she'll fit the 10 next summer. The difference in sizing, though, is a bit extreme...at least if going from the 8 to 10. If you can find it in your kid's size, it's a decent looking suit.

Great for core warmth

Got this for my almost-7yo daughter to keep her warm in the lap pool when she started swim clinics. She is very tall for her age and weighs 48lbs (tall and slim) and the smaller size (6) ended up fitting better. You want it snug so it doesn’t allow a ton of water in and create heavy lag in the water. The 8 was very wide on her. Great product!

This fits my child well and although is not hugely thick - keeps her that little bit warmer Han a normal swimming costume. It’s ideal for splashing about in the sea. Would recommend.

Ideal for summer use.

Aqua Sphere Kid's Stingray Short Sleeve Core Warmer The wet suite. This is a summer weight child’s short sleeved wet suite. It is a 2 mm thick one so offers a degree of warmth for rock pool play and of course UV protection. Construction. It appears well made and put together. Use. I would consider this only suitable for warm day summer use. Size and fit. The size seems about right for a 6 year old. The front and back panels are neoprene with the sides being a stretchy material. It offers excellent mobility. Overall. This is fine for summer and appears well made. We have not tried it yet as it is winter in the Uk but will report back in the spring when it is used.

Good for summer

Aqua Sphere is a good brand - I trust it. I have used their swimming goggles for about a decade. The quality of the stitching etc is good. This wetsuit is thin - just 2mm thick. That's fine for summer, for providing a little extra warmth (plus UV protection). If you want to use it early or late in summer, you might find it too thin. Scuba diving wetsuits are, for example, far thicker. One website recommends a 2mm wetsuit as being suitable for a water temperature of no less than 16.5 degrees Centigrade (though that is subject to personal preference and the personal characteristics of the wearer). If comparing it to other wetsuits on price, check that the other wetsuits are also 2mm thick.

I wish they had these when I was a child

My four year old grandson is quite tall, and this size six fits him fine. He will wear it in the pool, at the beach and around the paddling pool next summer. It is well made, professionally sewn, and he considers it to be 'cool'. Anything that allows a child to stay in the water longer, grow in confidence, and learn to love swimming gets my 5*s and this is such a useful item.

Great for the price as kids grow so quick. Fit great and would order again
