Support and pain relief for tendonitis in elbow

This adjustable device is durable and easy to wear on your arm right below the elbow. It is comfortable and provides support to your arm tendons. It is just one way to get some relief from the pain of tennis elbow. Hand washable too.

There are better ones

This is fine. It’s a bit narrow which isn’t actually a good thing. The gel is also too comfortable. I have another wrap that’s a bit wider and the middle bump that pushes down on the muscle is more rigid. While this one looked easier to wear under clothes, my arm feels better when in my larger brace.

Works Great!

I wrestle with tendonitis flare ups in my elbow. This thing does the trick in transferring pressure and gives honest relief so I can work - I'm an old guy and have been an electrician for 42 years. I'm also a long time guitar player and this helps keep me jamming and annoying the neighbors! This is a win-win.

Mueller Tennis Elbow Brace w/Gel Pad

I recently developed tennis elbow & my dr prescribed this kind of brace for me. I contacted my local medial supply company & they wanted $35 for a brace like this!!! I'm no dummy so I checked Amazon & got the exact same product for a bargain price. This brace is easy to adjust and stays in place nicely. I only gave it 4 stars because the brace needs adjustment now & then to keep the gel pad in place. I'm not even 100% sure where it should go - instructions leave a bit to be desired. I must add that the low price does NOT give you an inferior product. This is a high quality brace & relieved my pain considerably on the first day. After 3 days of wearing it about 3 hrs at a time my tennis elbow was 90% better. Wearing it for more than 3 hrs is uncomfortable but according to my dr they should not be worn all day anyway. I use a walker & decided to wear one on each arm when using the walker to avoid injuring my other arm. This is a must for those that need this appliance - do NOT spend more - it won't get you anything better.

GREAT for tennis elbow injuries

I have had a "tennis elbow" injury for a few months now. My doctor advised me to get a arm brace that could provide tension for that muscle. This has worked well. It is easy to adjust based on the day and how my arm responds. It is also easy to just slip off. It does seem to help quite a bit. My only concern is that over time it seems the velcro isn't holding as well anymore, it has lost some of it's ability to stay attached consistently. I have been wearing it everyday for about 3 months now. I may have to purchase a new one to replace.

Works for my tennis elbow. Relieves pain and pressure. Highly recommend.

I just received this today and so far so good. I put it one right away straight out of the package and it works. I developed tennis elbow from playing tennis and swimming. A basic wrap was useless. Now, I see why. The gel pad here placed on the outside of my forearm just below the elbow puts some pressure on the painful spot and helps relieve it. The pain is minimal now when I do forget and use my right arm. Happy with it and highly recommend. FYI: read the instructions on the package. The large fold out manual inside with it is basically useless. The type is tiny and the instructions are for all their products. You have to look for this one. Easy to use and clean.

Uncomfortable

What I like about this elbow brace is that it is not made of neoprene, which always makes me break out in a rash. However, there are some design flaws that make it uncomfortable to wear. First, there's a plastic piece that is on the inside of the brace and goes next to the skin. When tightened, the plastic digs into my arm. It is soft plastic, so I was able to cut it off with a pair of scissors. There's no reason for it to be there, and doesn't impact the strength of the brace when it's gone. The second thing that makes it uncomfortable is the width of the hook and loop closure. It runs right up to the edge of the brace so when I bend my arm the scratchy hooks rub my arm raw. I tried cutting it back to the stitching line, but it still goes to far to the edge for comfort. If I turn the brace around so the hook side is on the outside of my arm, the bump that is supposed to press against the sore area is on the wrong side. If they updated this brace by removing the inside plastic piece and making the hook and loop narrower, I would recommend it. But, as it is, it's too uncomfortable to wear.

Forearm Muscle Pain Relief

The Mueller Tennis Elbow Support with Gel Pad is well constructed, but alas seems to have little efficacy in providing pain relief from acute Brachioradialis muscle pain of the forearm ( at least in my case). It may assist in cases of mild forearm irritation. My score of three stars is primarily based on quality of construction rather than whether it provides pain relief. Had I based my review solely on whether this product is fit for purpose ( pain relief) then I would only award one star.

Go for it

It's so good that I got a second one. Gives relief from pain. Soft n light on d skin. Doesn't make me sweat extra coz of the band. Only problem is wish they come in a smaller size too

Very happy with this purchase

I was told by the doctor I had to wear a support for 8 weeks to overcome some tendonitis in my elbow. This seemed to work well and was comfortable to wear. I liked that it was quite subtle so I didn't feel silly wearing it at work or down the pub etc. The only annoying thing is that the plastic bit where you tighten the strap pinches the skin a bit, and overtime become twisted so you have to take the whole thing off and put it back on every couple of hours or so.

Great comfort... abysmal durability

Ordered two of these one in June and one in August. Both with the same fault that after awhile the Velcro stops working rendering it useless. Shame. Asked for refunds now.
