Oh...my...God!!
If I could give this 10 stars I would! The smell is exquisite. It leaves my skin feeling smooth but not oily like other brands. I love it!!

Strong smelling luxury body wash with long-lasting scent
Molton Brown's Shower Gel is among the strongest scented body washes I've purchased. I often find that, with lower-to-mid cost washes, the smell isn't particularly pungent and quickly dissipates after the shower. With Molton Brown, it's both quite strong (which is either good or bad depending on what you want) and long-lasting on your skin: both of which are huge selling points for me. I really like body washes that give the cooling tingle sentation, as it's a welcomed relief from my roughly 20min showers at high temperatures. The gel lathers well so a little goes a long way (which is good when the cost-per-oz is $3.50). There's no film-y feeling on your skin after and I swear I can feel the impurities drain off when I'm done. My skin is nice, smooth and fresh-feeling when I'm done showering. The biggest drawback is one that I can't fully hold against the product: the scent, to my subjective palate, isn't well balanced. I realize that the eucalyptus is the top note, but it fully overpower the cedarwood and mint. There's also a rather pronounced patchouli smell that isn't advertised on the listing page (it's in the small print as a "base note" on the back of the bottle). I'm not partial to patchouli and given how strong and how much the scent lingers post-shower, I had to sit with that smell for a while. Another downside is Amazon's handling of this (and other) body washes (which isn't the fault of the product/manufacturer). The bottle arrived in poor condition and had leaked some of the wash. It should have been in a protected box but was shipped from Amazon in those white bubbled envelopes. When the cost is $35 for a 10oz bottle, I don't want any of it wasted by poor handling. I do not factor this into the star rating though.

Love this scent. Long lasting
Scent lasts all day. I've woken up the next morning still smelling like this body wash. My only issue with it is that it can be a bit drying on the skin. But otherwise, love this body wash

A gel but it FOAMS!
This was the shower gel/wash that was in the inn we stayed in for our anniversary. Brings all those good feelings back. Great scent and although it's a gelit foams up so well. I love it.

Fresh
A little goes a long way! Scent is fresh but not too sharp. Luxurious lather. Doesn't leave skin stripped. I'm susceptible to dry skin! Have repurchased this and others many times. Im glad to find on Amazon. My favorite store in LA, Fred Segal is no longer here. Saks Fith Avenue carries a selection, but they charge more..ok that just played back to me as ...duhhh...lol. Anyway there is another scent I like for winter black pepper. Warmer and right for the cooler LA weather...that is decidedly NOT winter!

Misshaped bottle - not sure how it’ll stand in the shower.
When ordering products like these from Amazon I’m never sure if they’re the real deal or copies and I’m never really sure how to tell. On this occasion the bulbous ended bottle makes me doubt it’s legitimate. I’m not entirely convinced Molton Brown would package their products in such an unsuitable way given that it’s bell (shaped) end makes it impossible to store in any other way than on its side. And to be honest that’s pretty poor for it’s price and takes up too much room on the shower shelf - where will I relocate the shampoo to? And no - no amount of pressing and pushing will make it retract. Disappointed. Will order elsewhere next time.

So refreshing
This came today and like any tine I get new molton brown I get giddy and excited to use the product. This is my first time with this fragrance and all I can say is wow I wasn’t disappointed. As always you only need a small amount on a Loofer and it goes along way. It’s so refreshing whilst Applying and when your out the bath you feel energised and a very clean and a cleansed feeling on your skin. It lasted about 3 hours after my bath. This would be great for a cooling refreshing body wash after the gym or a cold shower on hot days. It does smell like you just showered at the beach. Defo getting this one again

I love this product , in the summer its refreshing and cooling and in the winter the sea scents remind me of being on holiday. Such a great product, one of the best from MB.

Smells like a man's aftershave.
The quality of all molten brown products is just luxurious. However, I purchased the costal cypress bath and shower gel and it smells like a man's aftershave. Great for men but definitly not a scent I want to wear. I have given it to my son and I will be buying my favourite Rhubarb and Rose.

Not the usual product
I have been using Molton Brown shower gel for many years but this is not what I expected. It appears to be watered down and there is barely any perfume. I have checked the wording on the plastic bottle and the only differences I can see from my last bottle of this gel is the addition of 'KAO Germany GMBH D-64308 Darmstadt'. The list of ingredients has variations too. I have either been fobbed off with a fake product or Molton Brown has changed it deliberately. Either way, I shan't be buying it again.
