Works great
Works great, had for three seasons now. They are sturdy and work great. The pole is a little shorter then I wanted so I made my own longer one.

Looks great.
I thought it was remote controlled but it is not. But my boyfriend absolutely loves it anyways.

Does what I bought it to do.
Post is REALLY short, put it out for the first time last weekend and damned if the bird wasn't 2 inches above the water when I got it deep enough to be firm. And the water was significantly less than a foot. BUT it looked good, even at 2 inches above the water, and I shot some ducks, so is it working? Don't know, but it isn't chasing them ALL away. Going to give it a boost with some 1/2" ID conduit, which is the perfect size for the spike on the post to fit in easily, but tight enough to keep the deke where I put it.

Good product, but it can be great with a few user-added improvements
I like the Gadwall mostly because it was half the price of the mallard when I bought it. However, there are a few differences from the picture/description that I wanted to point out: 1) The feet delivered with mine are bright orange, unlike the mottled yellow ones shown in the picture. 2) This unit runs on six- AA batteries (9V total), whereas the description states that it runs on four- AA's (6V). That being said, I am pretty certain that this is the same motor that's in the mojo teal (6V) and I confirmed that it will run fine on 6V, it just runs slower. The battery life of six AA alkaline batteries is approximately 3-4 morning only hunts, or 1 all-day hunt. After this, it runs pretty slow and the total battery voltage has dipped pretty low. Other things to consider/sage advice: 1) If the wings fall off, it's cheaper to replace them with baby mojo mallard wings (same size)MOJO Outdoors Magnetic Wing Set (Baby/Floater) . 2) The timer functioned fine for me, but I didn't like it. Sometimes the wings stop with the white undersides facing up, and I think it flares a few wary birds. Mojo Outdoors says that baby mallards and gadwalls aren't compatible with their 12V controllers, and that is true. Therefore I cut off the cycle timer, and bought a generic 6V "car alarm" controller that allows me to switch it on and off at will, even 30 yards out. You have to get a 6-volt controller and wire it yourself. This same timer should work for ALL Mojo products that run on 6V or 9V. These controllers are available on Amazon.com under the following product code:12Vmonster ® DC 6V Universal Remote Control Wireless Switch and Receiver Set ON OFF switch TOYS SMALL MOTORS 3) Skip the "floating" mojo and instead you can make a "Pamlico Pole." You can use the standard pole in shallow water, or use the Pamlico Pole in water >3ft deep. Search for "crab pot mojo" (without the quotes) in Google Images to see what I mean. Instructions and pictures are on the first image link that directs you fo a forum post on The Refuge Forum.

Its great, until ti stops working.
Im not very hard on my stuff.. this thing worked great until it took a crap on me. In my opinion you are better off with wind spinners, and if you dont have wind, use a jerk rig.

Not bad
This teal mojo works great during early teal season. I had so many birds buzzing over it and had good success using it. I even used it for dove hunting and watched many doves come straight to it. I have noticed that during regular season, some big ducks seem to be a little wary of it, and I’m not sure why. I do have a couple of complaints with this product however: 1) the stake is not nearly long enough to use in a marsh. 2) after a couple dozen hunts, the wings are rattling a bit which may deter some birds and I don’t know how to prevent the rattling. 3) I know that it is due to the small design, but I wish that it was remote control compatible, as it would be nice to be able to turn it off if you have geese flying by. Otherwise, for the money this is a great early season product and it works as advertised. Edit: after upgrading to a lucky duck mallard for regular season, I bought a lucky duck teal and am selling my mojo teal. I am much more pleased so far with the quality of lucky duck and the remote compatibility with the lucky duck teal is a make or break for me. I already have a reviver in my mallard, so being able to swap that over to a teal will be great. Sorry mojo, lucky duck wins this round.

You need extension poles.
You have to get extension poles for larger bodies of water. Still pretty short with poles included.

This really is a great buy. It seems to be well made and works as I hoped it would. As other reviewers have stated, you will more than likely need to lengthen the rod if you will be placing it in more than 2 ft of water. I cut off a section of pvc pipe, painted it black, and it works perfectly, no need to pay for a more expensive extender rod. Comes with an extra battery pack (without the batteries) that can be placed in the back compartment in case your other pack goes dead or weak. The only reason 1 star is missing is that the wings are not as sturdy and durable as I would like, you will need to be careful not to put a lot of pressure on them in any way. Otherwise, for the price it works perfectly. Hope this helps.

Good
Like everyone else says the stick is too short. If it had one more length included in the box I don't think there would be any significant change for the company in packaging or shipping cost for them, and it would be significantly more useful to the end user! I've had to work around it by bringing a small piece of plastic electrical conduit to stick in the ground first and then slide this into it up to the foot-push step. Not ideal but it gives me that extra 18 i usually need in order to set this up in a creek or pond
