10U First Year Catcher

Love these. They are the only one with the strap that cross over the arch of the foot which keeps the guard in place while squatting into catchers position, no more shifting. My 10yr daughter is 4'10" and wears a size 14 clothes. She is more muscular than some of the other girls on her team. I was worried these would be too big, but she is doing great with them, especially since they stay in place. Additionally, the top part covers her lower thigh by the knee better and she feels more secure in these than her old ones (not Mizuno brand) as she's taken a few pitches to the legs. While worth the price and investment into very durable gear.

Poor quality straps

The media could not be loaded. My daughter loves these shin guards and why I stay with them. Usually I get a year out of them but not this pair. This pair has half a season use and already done for. My kid does pride herself in blocking every single ball and in doing so is hard on her shin guards. However Mizuno these can be redesigned to last longer ….

Great fit.

Daughter is in 14U and 5’ 5”. She has the 16” shin guards. We have had them for 5 months now and really love the feel and protection. They fit the legs very well and she has no restrictions in movement. So happy we bought an extra set.

Silly me for purchasing used

I bought this item used as it was tagged in 'very good' condition. Well, 'very good' means missing half of the straps and covered in dirt and dust. Each leg only had 2 of the straps to hold the padding up, the one around the shoe and the one around the top of the leg. The rest of it fans out from my leg and I needed to tie it down with shoe laces. Disappointed.

Low quality

On the first attempt ordered. The shin guard was missing an entire strap. They replaced the shin guard no issues. The replacement was in one piece. My catcher put on the shin guards today and the strap broke right off. For the money spent on these shin guards you would think they would last longer.

Nice but not made to last

We purchased these in February but my daughter has only been using them for about 6 months and the knee pads is already tore up and keeps falling out
