Great protection
My daughter (14) specifically requested elbow pads when she began playing club volleyball. Her elbows were getting bruised and scraped more so than when she played for her school team. Since wearing these she has felt more comfortable and confident. She says they work great when working on dives and pancakes and fit comfortably.

Daughter seems to like them for Volleyball
Product seems to work well for daughter while she plays volleyball. No roll not tight. Says they are needed cause she is one of those that that throws her self for the ball and helps protect her.

Protects my Olecranon bursitis
I have olecranon bursitis which is a build-up of fluid from the bursa-sac that I've had drained twice and each time it returned in one day. The orthopedic doctor recommended that I use a volleyball elbow pad and recommended these while I was still in the treatment room. They are comfortable to wear so I don't have to worry about making the problem worse than it is since it's in an area that it's impossible to avoid aggravating it. I first purchased the small/medium size but had to return it to get the large/extra large size. I tried using Ace bandages but since I live alone, when I needed to shower and remove the Ace bandage by myself, I could never get it back on properly by myself. The elbow pads don't require any velcro or things like that so I just need to protect the elbow and the volleyball elbow pad protects the elbow while preventing other people from seeing this ugly fluid filled sack on my elbow area. It even grosses me out but the orthopedic doctor recommended that I don't have surgery as the potential for an infection could be very serious. I'm 55 years old so I'm not too worried about this olecranon bursitis sack that will be protected and not visible with the volleyball elbow pad on. 30 years ago I might have felt differently but (3) separate doctors recommended that I live with it rather than have surgery and to wear the volleyball elbow pad.
