Solid choice for low tolerance work

I work in a machining facility and use this almost daily. I've checked the accuracy of the markings using a caliper and found it to be incredibly reliable for measuring on the 32nd side, but not so much on the 64th side. Still, I've found this to be a very sturdy, easy-to-read, and mostly accurate measurement tool. Definitely satisfied with my purchase.

This rule is just a joy to use to measure in wood working. Japanese rules are amazing. Recommend it highly.

High quality

A steel rule that is of machinist quality. Stiff. Measurements match with micrometers. Well worth money paid. I expect it will provide many years of service.

High-quality ruler. I bought for guitar work. I like that you don’t have to flip it upside down to read the other side. Only con is the numbers are a little small. I have good near vision, but I feel like they could’ve been a little larger to make it easier to read. There’s plenty of room to make the numbers larger.

Great product. Lousy packaging

This is a great scale. Amazon needs to package the scale better. I have ordered a few of these and have lost 2 because it came out of the box it was shipped in. And Amazon only refunded me for one

Amazing little machinist rule

This little thing is great. It fits in small spaces, is easy to read, and has precise sharp corners so you can reference tiny features of a part. I use it when I need to measure in small spaces, like inside a part, and generally for making CAD models of existing objects. Note that it isn't flexible at all (by design) so you can't bend it to wrap along a curved surface. I'm happy to have this in my shop and I can't believe I didn't get one sooner.

Simple and clear

This was exactly what I was looking for, a short, easy to read and inflexible ruler. Its not cheap but feels high quality in the hand. In my opinion it's worth the extra money over something cheap as it seems like it will last a long time.

Divisions well identified

This is a strong ruler, thicker than most and has the 32nds labelled every 4 32nds and 64ths marked every 8. This saves having to count all those little divisions like with all other rulers of this kind I have ever used.
