More people need to know how easy this is to install!

I recently had a 12'x14' pergola built in my yard and thought it would be really nice to add a misting system to it. I looked around at much more expensive and harder to install options, but I couldn't understand why I would put that kind of time or money into the setup when essentially I'm just hanging up a hose with brass nozzles either way. This was money well spent. First, the brass nozzles are a must. Everything I've seen in real life and read online proves to me that the plastic/pvc nozzles are junk. It's only a few dollars more, so this was a no-brainer. Next, my biggest gripe, is the gray hose. I don't even know why this would come in gray, since their other products are white and most people will hide these in trim or railings that are white more often than not. I hid most of the hose above the pergola and painted what was visible. Not ideal, but for the price I don't care. I love that this comes with a long lead before the first nozzle. My pergola is 12' tall and I was able to run the hose from this all the way to the ground with the first nozzle being right on the top corner. Setup was super easy, and the flexibility of the hose was a big help. Had I chosen the PVC systems, I would have been inserting corner pieces everywhere to get this just the way I wanted. This was as simple as snaking the hose to where I wanted it, nailing in the brackets, and moving on. I was finished in 15 minutes. I also added a calcium filter and needed a 50' length of hose to run to my spigot. Since I wanted the use of this to be super easy, I put a wifi sprinkler controller on that spigot and linked it to a Hue switch via Home Assistant that allows me to turn the mist on and off with the press of a button. This has been a huge addition to our summer for very little cost. It's been a brutal summer and having this option to cool off in the shade has been fantastic. Guests have been super impressed with it, and I'm pretty sure I've sold quite a few of these after telling them the whole setup was

Too wet!

I read lots of reviews on this product before I purchased it, with my main concern being too much water and pooling. We covered a 30'x14' patio with a shed roof, open on all 3 sides. I really thought a light breeze would take care of the problem, but it doesn't, and we end up with water everywhere. If I turn the faucet up, the mist is heavy. If I turn it down, it drips. After about 10 minutes of running somewhere between the two, everything is soaked. The mister itself is of great quality, with brass nozzles that can easily be turned to any direction you prefer, however, it's life on my patio is over...

It does what it says

Summers are hot in our part of the country and we love sitting out on our front porch. The MistyMate16031 Misting Kit made it much more bearable for us. Installation was pretty simple and did it by myself. Followed all directions from installation to bleeding the line before putting on each nozzle. I do get some leaking/dripping at 2 or 3 of the nozzles, but this may have been due to my having the faucet turned on to high, which was not hight at all, really - about a half-turn. After a couple of minutes of perfect spray, the hose separated in the middle from one of the connectors. I reconnected and adjusted the faucet to just less than a quarter turn, from the end of the hose, it would be a trickle...guess the system does not require much more than that. Apart from the dripping, it works great and we are happy with it.

A+ Makes Ya smile in summer heat!

Still have original hose purchased 6 yrs ago..Last two years left them up all year (lazy girl)turning on as needed. Following winter i remove nozzles and let them rest in C.L.R. solution for a few hrs.. I flush the hose while nozzles are out by turning on water then reduce water a little as I reconnect nozzles closest to water connection first...then go down line....if one still seems to b clogged i use a small needle to scrape over tip of nozzle ..usually all it needs. Have used both plastic and brass.. Cheaper to go with brass and buy replacements as spares down the road. I see another company here in Amazon selling replacement brass nozzles ...22 pcs for 9.99 .. Wow I have paid about that price for only 5 pcs in past years.. Need to replace some cheaper plastic nozzles ..suggest brass when available.. Will let you know if newly spare brass ones work well. My Mistymate hoses haven't leak..only nozzles have in past..Bought both deluxe Misty Mate and regular..the first purchase 6yrs ago was deluxe but standard works as well. Off brand types with plastic doesn't survive as well... nozzles get brittle and break. No matter which you get... Any mister system is help ...in high temps..Would not go thru another summer in Texas without some sort of misters. Refreshing for man and beasts..birds love them.. dogs appreciate them as well ...And backyard gardens thrive near them.. It outstanding relief when temps start to become unbearable. You can twist nozzles to aim certain directions too. (Most types do)...I have a spare i take when company comes.. 4wheelers drive under the misters... Makes ya smile in the summer heat.. Misty Mate is my first choice but.. cheaper brands work good too.. Just have more maintenance down road. God bless.

Great value

We use these for our chicken coops. Worth it to purchase the one with brass fittings. You do need to zip tie connections as they will blow off.

Tenía mis dudas de comprarlo porque no quería tirar mi dinero PERO ayuda mucho a refrescar, la brisa es increíble ya que no es un chorro que moja por lo que lo puedes tener prendido varias horas, el material es excelente!

Moyennement efficace

L'installation est simple. Par contre, je trouve que c'est cher pour un tuyau avec des trous. Cela fait de la brume mais cela a aussi tendance à couler en filet d'eau par moment ; donc l'efficacité n'est pas optimale.
