Works great to keep wind and bugs off my 18 month granddaughter while we ride. Light weight and lots of positions to adjust for my bike set up. The only thing I don't like is that I have to loosen all the hex nuts on the Yepp seat's mounting bracket and lower the whole thing in order to remove the windshield. If you want to use it all the time this won't be inconvenient but sometimes I want it off.

It’s perfect product.

The product is perfect. I attacked to e bike that can go up to 28 mph ( don’t go that fast with baby!, obviously) and shield did not budge. Easy to install for me, 5 mins top, but I can do this type stuff easily. Protects child from wind which is fantastic.

Good Screen, Bad Bracket

The windscreen itself is decent, but the bracket is half-thought. It has a quick adjustment for the base hinge, but the screen-side hinge requires tools. Using this with a Trek Verve, I have no adjustment for height as it is impeded by the handlebar. So the screen stays a bit low. The screen should be quickly removable as it doesn't seem to be able to survive a ride on the car rack. The resultant mount has the screen bounce around a lot too. Overall a disappointing buy considering how good and well thought out the Yepp mini is.

It works !

Worked well...Adjustment was easy and if set up properly deflect wind, bugs dust from child sitting the bike seat

Great Little Invention

We purchased it thinking our little one would be too small for it but at 4 1/2 months olds we were able to strap him in safely and he loved it. If you baby is able to hold is head up and is trying to sit up they will enjoy this as much as our little one has. He even holds on the the handle bar and has his own little helmet

Great product

It kept the helped my baby breath better during bike rides (without it she always had her head turned so she could breath easier because of th wind left her a little breathless) and prevented her from getting damp from a light summertime shower. It was pretty good at keeping bugs, dust and the rare pieces of gravel from Semi trucks and other large vehicles (we would start our bike rides alongside the highways for about 8 minutes) from flying at her. All in all its a great addition to the yepp mini. I would have given a higher rating but it didn't come with instructions and I spent a good half an hour fiddling with it until I got it on properly lol.

I purchased this with the extra mount just to use it on the electric bike without a car seat I was told it couldn't be done because it attaches to the car seat but it really attaches to the mount.

Distortion in plastic

When you look through the screen at eye level for our child, there is a weird distortion on the plastic. We contacted them twice and haven’t heard back.

Good for the baby but difficult to release

This windscreen is great to protect your baby from wind or frontal rain. However, notice that the one provided is different (I think is more modern) than the one displayed. The good thing is that the new windscreen can be rotated vertically at two points, one is close to the windscreen (like the old model) and the other one is close to the stem adapter. Unfortunately, in order to provide this second pivot point, the quick release of the stem has been sacrificed. In the new system, there is a hollow plastic adapter that covers the stem adapter. A flat metal bar needs to be inserted at the top opening of this plastic cover to attach it to the stem adapter. In order to insert this metal piece you will need vertical room between the stem adapter and your handlebar. I have an hybrid bike and I lifted my handlebar as much as possible to get room but it was not enough. Only by rotating the stem adapter 90 degrees I get enough room to lift the metal piece, but to do so I need to loose one of the screws of the stem adapter. This is a shame, because the Yeep mini chair can be release in one second but for the windscreen you need a tool and time. Keeping the windscreen on your bike unnecessarily will make your rides very tiring and slow (because of the huge wind resistance) and your bike would look awkward.

Die Scheibe hat uns erst mal begeistert weil starker Wind für unser Kind vorn doch unangenehm war. Leider ist sie nur auf den ersten Blick toll. Egal wie fest man sie gemacht hat, während der Fahrt hat sie sich immer irgendwie verwackelt und war dann nach hinten geklappt. Außerdem bricht sie das Licht sehr seltsam und ich konnte den Bereich den ich nur durch die Scheibe gesehen habe schlecht erkennen. Wir haben sie zweimal genutzt und nie wieder.

Nett gedacht aber nicht für jeden Lenker geeignet

Das Windschild an sich ist eine schöne Idee und gut verarbeitet. Es ist jedoch nicht für jeden Lenker geeignet, da das Gelenk für die Höheneinstellung direkt am Adapter positioniert ist. An meinem MTB-Lenker ist der Befestigungsarm dadurch nur bis maximal in die Waagerechte zu verstellen (siehe Foto), wodurch das Windschild zu niedrig ist und seinen Zweck verfehlt - schade. Zudem ist die Lösung für den Slim-Fit Adapter zwar funktional, aber für meinen Geschmack relativ umständlich, verglichen mit der einfachen Befestigung des Kindersitzes an sich.

Toddler loves it.

Used this along with the Yep mini. Great for blocking wind and bugs. Survived a few falls when bike was upright without toddler or rider on bike. Strong winds will affect how you ride but that is to be expected. Can be installed in less than 15 minutes.
