I hope they see more use than I expect.
Retail therapy/helicopter parent/post-Christmas/New Years work-out purchase. Kid is too small to give them much, but they're a cool "toy" either way. They are super high quality, so the idea is they can be used to play around with now, and for real later if he sticks with mma. Only tried a couple other pairs. Cheapo Everlast, and decent Ringside. These are way better. Quite small, so my only concern is the stitching at the opening now hanging on long enough for the leather to stretch a bit. But, once your had is inside, they are perfect. Wrist is very exposed, so I wouldn't use for kicks, unless with kids or very well trained adults. But, they would definitely take the hit. I can't feel anything slamming them into knees. Well worth the money if they get used. I have my doubts, but it won't be the biggest waste of money even this month. And, they'll always be worth a decent amount used, so I'm only out 20-30 bucks. Even for the current "toy" use/keep him interested in sports plan, that's well worth it to me.

New purchase through Amazon because Ringside has these Mini Punch Mitts out of stock.
I was excited to receive these Mini Punch Mitts. After only a short time using them I'm noticing that the not only are they fading quickly, I am noticing the face in front beginning to weaken as if they are not leather and possibly knock offs.

Small light and about glove size
I have been using larger focus pads these are great for more experienced boxers very realistic target area and are easy to fire back with counters and test the guard. I found them comfortable and can be held like gloves close to the face. I got an extra pair and get the boxers to use them helps them to see punches coming and the can practice defensive blocks

Excellent quality, well constructed and made
Excellent quality, well constructed and made. Only issue is "handed-ness". Which one is left or right. They are both made the same even though there is definitely a handedness to the construction and design. Perhaps I just got 2 of the same "hand". But it doesn't make too much of a difference the ability to hold properly is not noticeably affected. But the correct hand does feel more comfortable. Either way kind of sucks that was sent 2 lefts mitts or 2 right mitts or the company makes a "handed" mitt but only for one hand. Not sure but worth the purchase if this is an item that you want.

Ringside owns the punch mitt arena!
Ringside owns the boxing punch mitt arena, it seems to be their speciality. The best micro mitts in the game! Perfect for running high speed accuracy drills while having enough padding to take the hard shot thrown in every few punches. Good size to punch back at boxer to learn that efficient defense is moving just enough. Average size hand fills the mitt perfect since the mitt itself is no bigger target than a hand with some padding on the front which is also great for teaching basics boxing sequences instead of bare hands.

Pros and cons
I've medium hands, I can see if someone with large hands may not fit them. Pros: - The mitts each has a hitting diameter of 6", which I prefer over the larger mitts, for more precision work. - Good padding. - All leather construction. Cons: Not really a con, it's just by design. It may only fit medium hands. Those with larger hands will need to choose a larger mitt. Conclusion: - I'm working with my 8 yr old son and he's doing well with these(punching and kicking). No regrets buying, glad I chose these instead of the larger head size mitts.

These are great mitts but after one week of using them, one of the front stitches broke, it’s a little disappointing.

The best in boxing.
I always liked combat sports. Ringside is the best in boxing. Always Nice looking ans Nice quality. Sometimes some persons tell me stuff fit small but i liked it a lot for me. I own 3 pairs of focus mitts, 3 pairs of sparring gloves and one for bag work. My shinguards are combats sports With the same quality as ringside. Ringside really work for me!

Their nice but, no ball grip means complex combos may leave them slipping off your hand when catching punches.
