Beautiful set of highball glasses

These work great as everyday glasses for water or soda, and work for more sophisticated drinks in the evening. I use them everyday and have been impressed with their durability.

Stylish glassware; the weighted bottom is heavier than expected

These are very nice glasses that both my husband and I enjoy using. I generally like glassware that is slim-bodied with thin glass; my husband prefers thick, heavy, pint-style glasses. This Mikasa model offers a workable compromise for both our tastes. The glass on the upper portion is on the thinner side and feels comfortable to drink from, while the lower portion has a heavy, weighted bottom. The empty glass weighs 10.2 oz on my home scale. The bottom half is slightly wider than the upper and my hand has slipped a few times while not grasping a full cup securely enough; the heavy base may take time to get used to! Overall, the glasses look lovely and wash well in my dishwasher (though I imagine the etching may wear off over time; I will monitor and see). These make for a stylish gift, as well.

Lovely glasses with a nice weight!

I ordered these glasses and they arrived quickly and well packaged. I eagarly opened them and double checked that they were dishwasher safe, and they were indeed. After a spin in the dishwasher that seemed to take forever I decided to give these the once over. The detail on the glass was actually really pretty, and the weight of the glass is significant. This doesnt look or feel like a cheap glass, but instead a glass that makes a statement. I really like these and am glad I ordered them, I feel like they would make a lovely gift for someone getting their first place, or anyone really!

Nice, heavy glass

Tried out several different water glasses and this was among my favorite. Has a great heft to it as well as a slight pattern and is tapered towards the top. Has survived about a dozen wash cycles by now with no issue. Heavy enough that they won't break in the sink or with some slightly rougher handling. Great option.

They can hold a double white russian with no issue

With family coming over for the holidays we needed more glasses. These arrived undamaged and held up great after going through the dishwasher before being used. I don't trust some of my family members with stem wine glasses so these are good universal drink holders. Wine, bourbon, vodka, tequila, these glasses held it all and made it through Christmas and New Year without any issues. They were knocked over on a table or counter a few times with no breaks. We never had a full drop to the floor to review and then tell you about how Christmas turned into a bloody mess, thank you sweet baby jesus. If you need extra glasses for a party or want to add to your bar setup, grab these.

Nice glasses

These are nice glasses and are big enough to hold iced tea or water at a meal. Would be great for smoothies since they are glass and can be placed in freezer prior to filling with smoothie mixture. Would also be good for root beer floats.
