Sturdy yet elegant

This review is for the 15oz Bourbon Glasses. By far, these are my goto glasses for big cube drinks, primarily Old Fashions and Bourbon on The Rocks. They are large enough to feel substantial but also have that refined feel like your favorite red wine glass from Riedel. Be careful because you can chip the rim but these newer glasses seem a little more solid than previous versions. They are dishwasher safe. I hope you will love this glass as much as I do!

Thin rim helps bouquet of drink

I would not leave these in the sink to break but the thin rim helps to appreciate my whiskey notes and taste better

Thinner glass than expected

Glass is overall thinner than I expected it to be. Overall it is the correct size that I was looking for. Yet to be determined how they hold up with everyday use and thin walls.

Very pretty and well made

These Mikasa glasses are lovely and are exactly as they appear in the product details. These are whisky glasses with the circumference at the top and bottom exactly the same. They are very nice.

Seemingly elegant, ultimately impractical

As stated by almost everyone, these are incredibly thin-walled and fragile. They look elegant as a result, but in real life they're not that pleasant or practical to use. For starters, if you put an iced beverage in one, your hand literally freezes while holding it. Every bit of heat gets sucked out of your hand through those thin walls and into your drink. Secondly, with a cold beverage in them, these glasses also collect massive condensation that runs down the outside and soaks your coaster---even to the point of overflowing onto the table. They're nice looking and I thought I'd like them initially, but after using them a couple of times, they've become my least-used glassware. I just don't like holding or using them. I'll look elsewhere for sturdier and more practical glasses next time.

Nice glasses, but as others mention fragile

These are clean and simple glasses. I bought a pack of 4 for my dad 2 years ago since he was looking for large whisky glasses and he only just recently broke the first one fumbling it out of the dishwasher. They wont survive a drop, but if you're not clumsy these are worth it. Unfortunately I see the price has gone up quite a bit. I bought on sale for 29.99 CND, and they're now 52.99 CND. I have seen them go on sale for $40 recently, but will wait to see if they drop more before I buy another set or two.

Strong, durable and a good size.

Needed to replace some old wine glasses and wanted some quality ones that held a good amount of wine, were stylish and sturdy. These fit that description. The glass and stem are not too thin or thick making them the ideal size. Look and feel great and stand up to hand washing no problem.
