Comfortable for short term wear

If you're like me and you're looking at this one because of the lower price after an expensive surgery, you can definitely spend a few extra dollars for more comfort. The strap doesn't have any padding so it quickly digs in to your neck. The mesh is a nice touch, though.

I got this after shoulder replacement surgery, looking for something cooler than what the Dr gave me. And it is about the coolest sling I've worn. it's an ok sling, met my needs, but the front and back side of the sling portion are not attached to each other until you attach the strap, This made it a bit awkward to put on one-handed, and it seemed a little less supportive than other designs. It also doesn't have any padding where the strap goes around the neck, so that area can get sore pretty easily. But if you want a cooler sling, this is the best I've found.

Good cool sling for hot weather!

Mesh sling that is much cooler! It doesn't stretch at all. The strap is long enough and there is enough Velcro to keep the strap from coming undone or having the excess flopping around. The round rings bend the strap weird when using this, so having them be squared up loops would work better.

I used it only once. Therapy starts immediately shoulder surgery and since one of the exercises is to allow the arm to hang, I saw no need to keep it in a in the shower. That is a completely personal thing, tho, and your healingexperience may be completely different. Since I don't think it is fair to give a product fewer stars just because it didn't work for me, I have given it 4 because it is very well made and comfortable. It would also be a good sling for use in the summer months because of the mesh.

It was a good purchase for my occasional need. I’m a relatively small person, so it’s comfortable enough. I could see how a significantly larger person would benefit from a pad on the shoulder strap. It’s deep. Adjustable. Ventilated. Practical.

Lightweight, compact, and inexpensive--great to carry in an emergency kit.

Good enough to have on hand for an emergency. It takes up very little space and is extremely light in weight, so it is even great to be carried in an emergency kit during travel, hiking, vacation, etc. Very inexpensive--especially when purchased with Amazon's Subscribe and Save program. Definitely a large, so it is best for adults. I would be so happy if you could mark this review as helpful--thank you! :-)

Didn't fit

I gave the product four stars because it seems well made and arrived on time, however, it did not fit me. I am 6' 1" and weigh 195lbs and it did not fit. I just had rotator cuff surgery and was looking for a sling to wear in the shower. If you are under 6' tall this might be what you are looking for.

Great for showering

I use this to shower since it is mesh and will not absorb the water like the other fabric options. I generally make my own slings, but needed a quick sling ASAP. It works and fits exactly as expected. The water goes through so I can also wash my arm. When finished I hang it to drip dry. It's comfortable enough for my arm/shoulder to remain immobile. I even used it to get in a hot tub. It fit well, but also has an adjustable strap around the neck. Definitely recommended.

Does the job

I like that this is lightweight and the price is right. The supporting strap against the neck is a bit rough after wearing a bit but I slipped a soft covering over it and it was fine afterward. There are no instructions so you have to figure out how to fasten it -- I simply put the velcro strap through the silver rings and adjusted for support. Works fine, regardless of whether or not I actually got it right.

Awesome product!

I recently had shoulder surgery and purchased this to wear when taking showers. Not only did this sling work - it dried really quickly as well. Keep in mind you will need somebody's help to put this sling on and take it off.

Doesn't stay clasped

The buckle keeps popping open. Ended up buying a different one and throwing this in the garbage
