Spacer does it job.

Installation was a bit challenging, kinda like putting a square peg in a round hole. But, after a little elbow grease and a little fighting, I was able to get in in place!

Helped me hit a home run right outta the gate!!!

I purchased because I'm a large male to usually wears XL batting gloves, so I thought this would better. I don't know how much bigger this is than a regular Grip-n-Rip, but it is large. Took a few minutes to install (put bat in cold water, grip-n-rip in cold water, then worked the thing in with a lot of manual force. Luckily I'm strong, but it did take quite a bit of effort). Took a minute to get accustomed to. But used it in a game, and I have to say, the added leverage with the bottom half worked great. I got a home run in my second at-bat (my first was a walk)!!! I can see me driving a lot more home runs this season because of the added leverage. Maybe next time I'll get a regular version for my other bats. But this thing does what it says it does: fills up the space at the bottom of the bat and adds leverage. And added leverage + a good wrist snap = more power!!! This is a good purchase for me.

These feel comfortable if you have bigger hands

These feel comfortable if you have bigger hands. I normally wear a size 2XL batting glove but just recently stopped using batting gloves. These are WAY more comfortable than the smaller ones and I definitely like how it protects the knob of the bat from wear. The only issue I have with these is getting them off of the bat once put on. Every method I've used so far just seems to rip them. For those having difficulty putting them on, I would suggest taking a bit of dish soap and water and lubricating the inside of it. You should be able to push the smaller end over the knob of the bat without needing "strong hands" or turn it inside out which seems even more difficult.

Worth trying

It definetely does something. I like putting my pinky finger over the top ring. It makes the bat look super tuff.

Love It!

The item is a pain to install. I suggest recruiting someone with very strong hands. Also, there is a method to the installation that differs from the method of similar items. I will try to break it down: 1) Turn the item inside out. 2) Work the wider end around the knob of the bat so that it evenly covers the knob. 3) Pull the open end down and around the know. The item should now be on the handle with the wide end pointing toward the knob. 4) Slide the item down til it covers the knob on the bottom of the bat. Having installed other similar items I expected some difficulty so be prepared. Well worth the trouble once you get it on the bat. Good Luck
