Are You Worthy?

Love the Thor character. Have always liked the comics and enjoyed his movie character as well. But how does this pack play? I personally evaluate these based on the precon deck on it's own merits. But I also evaluate based on solo or coop play. So how's this pack? Sorry Thor fans, I can't put this pack in my upper tier to buy. Not that you shouldn't buy it. It's a fun pack. But let's break it down. Solo play: 1 of 5 stars. Thor is rough for solo play. They made him pretty much laser focused on combat. So he struggles with threat reduction. If you play him solo, take out his aggression access and use justice. Co-op play: 4 of 5. He's much better in a group. Because while others manage threat you can manage the enemies. First buy: No! I don't recommend this for a first buy. He has a hand size of 5 on alter ego and 4 on his hero side. Unless you want to make it as crazy hard as possible, then go nuts! I still do recommend this pack. Thor is fun to play. But I'd consider him more of an expert player's character. If you are just starting off look elsewhere.

Only good in a group setting

Thor is not easy to use solo. I see people saying "he is not a solo character". Remember the game is meant to be 1-4 players so every character should be enjoyed solo or in a group setting. Just not very fun. Highly recommend other characters before getting this one and Hulk. Both are not fun solo.

Great pack, available at Canadian retailers cheaper

Fun hero, getting better with each expansion. Antman and Wasps new aggression cards really open a more rounded game for the Hammer man. To fellow Canadian boardgamers with prime "free" shipping. 401 games and meeplemart both have better rates for nearly all boardgames even after paying shipping when combining orders, check their sites out. Trustworthy, friendly, great service from both, and Canadian stores. All the best.

Superheroe más o menos

Me gusta el personaje y me parece divertido su mecánica de enfrentar esbirros, pero me parece uno de los menos fuertes a comparación de otros Superheroes. Y las cartas que trae no son las mejores. Lo recomiendo comprar si se busca completar la colección de los vengadores.
