Confusing to put on and uncomfortable for my baby
If you’re a single parent this is definitely not the carrier for you. You have to have 2 people to put it on. Even with the instructions it’s pretty confusing to put on. There’s lots of straps everywhere. Not very visually appealing. When I placed my baby in it his legs are spread so far apart it looks super uncomfortable for him. The one good thing I will say about this is that it seems to have really good neck support for a newborn. Unfortunately I will be returning.

Nice.
Pros: - Nice long waist strap that will fit most parents without needing to add an extender. - The buckle set up makes it easier to get the baby in and out - Elastics on the straps to wind them up out of the way. - Mesh side panels allow air flow between the fabric pieces. - Comes with a drawstring backpack for storage — nothing fancy but still a nice feature. - Detachable hood section with pocket for storing it in (just enough room for the hood and maybe some lip balm or ID) - Drawstring adjustment to help make it friendly for newborns without needing inserts. - Easy to adjust sliding backstrap - A better instruction manual than other carriers (I’d still watch videos if in doubt). - The straps can be confusing at first - Mine arrived all twisted up so I unconnected it all and straightened it and had to actually look at the manual to be sure I was getting them back in place correctly. It’s actually not tough. I just think the multiple buckles for the top and side threw me a bit. Cons: - The waist band has a pocket to hide the excess, I’d prefer the elastic strap for rolling it up as it’s easy for the excess to come out of the pocket. And as I said, there’s a very large waist strap so for smaller folks, that’s a lot of strap to get in there. I’ll probably attach a loop of elastic myself. - I felt like the shoulder straps weren’t as easy to adjust as the Ergo. Could just be it’s a tight fit that will get easier with use. Not a huge deal just take a bit more effort. Overall: A nice carrier for most body types. Easy to use once you get the hang of it.

The material doesn’t justify it, the build doesn’t justify it, and the manufacturing cost doesn’t justify it. Compare the same material and build complexity of an item used for a purpose OTHER than one’s child, and you can see the difference I’m describing. The item itself, however, is very recommendable, given its good build quality and material composition. I’m only detracting a star from the rating because it is so overpriced, when it doesn’t need to be.

Born free WIMA baby carrier
This baby carrier seems to be nice quality and the 4 in1 ways to use it is a great idea. The head cover that protects her head from the sun is a good feature. The most comfortable way my daughter and I would use this is the front position, in facing and maybe the rear facing (On the back). However She is really uncomfortable with the forward, out facing position. The fabric cuts into her thighs and it keeps her legs spread apart too far and it's just not usable this way... I think it's inconvenient to have to put it on and take it off over my head like a shirt. It's difficult to get the side strap to line up and click together to secure it.
