works great
I used this tool to cut roofing metal for a shed . I'm 73 and my hands have artrithis and I do not have a good grip. This toll easily cuts through the metal, even my 10 year old helper cut tin, could not keep him away. Don't waste your money on tin snips.

Works GREAT !
This is a pretty handy tool to add to your drill to cut sheet metal. Head can be positioned 360 degrees , Can either be temporarily mounted to drill,or use free handed to guide it. It has been doing some really clean cuts on my stainless steel panels I have been cutting

A cut above the rest.
Hey, work is work....but this tool puts a smile on faces around here. After 30+ years of building metal buildings, and roofing with metal around the farm and shop, we finally had a project that was huge.....and knuckles that were more arthritic than when I started. So, it was time to get a power tool to cut the metal. We were lucky, and the metal we purchased (used, but nearly new) was 26 gauge R-Lock galvanized. It was MUCH heavier....25% thicker.... than the 29 gauge galvalume farm panels we had used previously. We had 9000 sq ft of it to apply....lots of doors and window holes. WOW.....I mean REALLY......WOW....this little bear chewed through it like butter. There is a learning curve. The blades have to be tilted just so to effect a smooth cut. INCREDIBLE, this can turn a corner and leave a radius corner no bigger than a soda straw diameter !!! The ridges and valleys on R-Lock panels are deep. It just takes a bit of experimentation to find the right angle up and over and down. The nemesis of sheet metal/roofing work is lengthwise cuts. This little tool breezes up long cuts....and it doesn't matter if they are on the flat, or the top or side of a ridge. For the first time in 30 years, it looked like contractors, and not farmers, had done the work. BUY YELLOW....KEVLAR....DOT GLOVES....DO NOT USE COTTON DOT GLOVES. LEATHER IS FINE, BUT THE KEVLAR DOTTED GLOVES ARE THE PRO CHOICE. REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE WORKING WITH SOMETHING THAT CAN CUT YOU LIKE A STRAIGHT RAZOR. ANY SHEARS OR NIBBLERS WILL DROP AND LEAVE SMALL BITS AND PIECES OF METAL....RUBBER SOLES WILL PICK THEM UP....AND THEY WILL PLAY HAVOC WITH LINOLEUM OR WOOD FLOORS IN THE HOUSE !!!!! We mounted ours on a corded, quality drill. I have not used it on a cordless drill yet. Some care is needed in the mounting, and the harness is somewhat cumbersome .......BUT....there is no drawback that can cause less than a 5 star rating. This tool does all, and more, than advertised. I bought a set of replacement jaws with it, thinking that they would be needed halfway through the job. I don't think that they will be needed after another building this size. Perfect tool for a sheet metal project. Be careful, stay safe, and good luck.

PRO ROOFER REVIEW
This tool has been used and envied, for everything metal that it will open wide enough to cut. I saw one before and used it as we did metal roofing but this Malco has the sharpness to stand up to and keep on going on my Ryobi 18v set but fits almost any battery operated drill. I personally haven't found any drill of that type it wont fit as the extension range, is remarkable. I got the replacement blades but I don't anticipate having to use them for a year or two yet. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars. the cutting power is awesome cutting 18 and 16 ga. metal with ease and control, just make sure you tighten all the right places and you can turn on a corner within a 1/16" for holes or cornering inside the metal. the head can be easily adjusted to cut upright on the side or any position in between,,, on the bad side, and this is the only con I have found so far in about a yr of use, is it doesn't lock into my impact drill but then again I have a regular drill, two speed that cuts fantastic on either speed, I am use to the tool so I can use it on high speed all the time but for beginners, start slow and those ridges on consumer grade roofing cut easily. with a little practice. lay your metal flat and lift the left side as you go over the ridges. remember it does leave a trail where the stationary blade runs on the metal so cut underside or make sure its the cull that has that line.

Used to Cut Pole Barn Siding
I'm a woman with a vision in my head to reuse our former pole barn siding for vegetable planter boxes. Pole barn siding is steel and there was no way I was going to cut it using tin snips or a grinding disc. The Malco Turbo Shear was highly rated and I found the best price through this vendor. I drew my lines on the siding and away I went with the shear. Pole barn siding has humps and I will admit that if you don't lift the siding, you will have more difficulty cutting it. You can't lay it flat and think you're going to zip straight thru it. I did it on grass, but I did have to lift the siding as I went over the humps. And on occasion, I wasn't too straight, but I was straight enough for the veg boxes, since they sit on grass. I recommend this product.

This is SO COOL
I saw this on a youtube video and being in the middle of building a chicken palace and chicken tractor for my grand-chickens, I knew how painful it would be to cut the hardware cloth and I bought some corrugated metal roofing that I didn't know how to cut best (how I found it on Youtube). I stuck it on my cordless Black & Decker drill. It takes a few seconds to put on, and having watched the video, went right to work. All I can say is this thing is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I have made it a permanent fixture on my rolling tool cart and used it for many things already - cutting tubing, vinyl, it was so fast and amazing on the welded wire hardware cloth! With my 20v Lithium Ion drill, it never even slowed down. Anything you would normally cut with heavy scissors, side cutters, tin or airplane snips but don't want your hand to feel like you are getting carpel tunnel, this thing should be able to do very well. I would recommend it to every DIY'er, especially since you don't have another power tool, motor, and/or cord to deal with.

Works up to 18 gauge - As advertised
I am usually not a fan of drill addon tools. Years ago lots of companies made drill addons to turn your handheld drill into a drill press. Of course I tried them. They were real tough to get lined up properly and never really worked ok. So when I saw this drill addon I looked at it with a critical eye. I purchased it because I needed a sheet metal cutter that would cut up to 18 gauge. That is what it does. And it does it really well. It took me about two minutes to mount it onto my hammer drill. (A regular drill works just as well.) I had marked round corners to cut from a square piece of sheet metal. My first cut, and every cut after, were just fine. This cutter works as advertised. As a matter of fact you will enjoy whenever you need to use it.
