Prodotto negli Stati Uniti.

Easy to use and quick, but edges not as clean as if sawed
Like the ease and the speed. Would likely work pretty well for most cases. I found it a little tricky to get my cut to land right on my intended cut line. Easy to get close, not easy to be right on. Also, the cut edge isn't as crisp and clean as a cut with the appropriate carbide blade in a jigsaw (relatively inexpensive but slower) or miter saw (quick but expensive for the right blade). So, depends on what you're doing. I was seeking a clean edge and a tight fit so this wasn't quite right for me. But, overall not a bad tool. NOTE: don't try to use a typical carbide blade in your miter saw; fiber cement with destroy the blade in a handful of cuts. Use something like a purpose designed blade for fiber cement with polycrystaline diamond tips.

Great product.
I like this product. Very well built. Attached to my older corded drill and went to work cutting out narrow and other pieces of Hardibacker board for a tile job. I had previously used my skilsaw with a cement cutting blade that worked, but kicked up clouds of dust, that left me blinking and unhappy, inspite of wearing the appropriate mask and eye protection. Cement dust was everywhere, on my clothes, and uncovered body areas. I swore to myself that my health was more important to me at this point in my life, and went on line to look for solutions that would not cost me an arm and a leg. This fit the bill. No fuss, no dust, and fast. Can cut very narrow pieces (linear) easily. Curves (gentle) were easy also. I have not cut tight curves or shapes yet, so please take that into consideration. I liked this solution to the above referenced problems. I recommend this to those seeking the same solution, since I do not want to buy a separate dedicated tool, for a singular purpose. I used what drill I had on site. Could have also used my battery operated drill very easily. I like having options and choices available to me, and this tool seems to enable that. I hope this review helps others.

Shears are amazing. Clamping to drill not so much.
I am using Hardie plank for my roof's fascia. I could only find 7.25" plank which is about 1" too wide, so I needed to remove 1" from about 40 pieces of Hardie. The Malco shears made this task pleasurable. Takes about 20 seconds to perform the cut after clamping up a fence. I am using the 1" scrap pieces for starter strips on other projects. Issues: A) I have a keyless chuck and it keeps coming loose. I find I need to drag my finger on the chuck to keep it from coming loose. B) The clamping system for holding this to the drill is a bit clunky. Really, the drill case makes it clunky as most drills were never designed/intended to have a tool clamped on like this. Its a good thing I have a second drill because I don't want to take it off, put it back on for the duration of the project. I docked this tool 1 star for this reason.

The Turboshear works pretty good, but you have to learn a couple ...
The Turboshear works pretty good, but you have to learn a couple of tricks. One, if you are powering it with a drill that has a keyless chuck you cannot get the chuck tight enough that it won't come loose while cutting your cement board. I have tried the drill in right hand rotation and left hand rotation, it still comes loose. So what you have to do is wear a heavy leather glove and with the drill in clockwise rotation, while you are cutting your board, apply enough friction on the chuck tightening ring to keep it from coming loose as you use it. And two, I have to turn the drill upside down (or sideways) to cut the board or else the foot of the tool does not sit flat and the board will delaminate at your freshly cut edge as it is cut. Learn those two tricks and you can cut fiber cement board fast and to your hearts delight with very, very little dust.

when I installed it on my Milwaukee Hole-Shooter drill motor then the tool worked like a champ
Updated Review: 6/28/18 I have now used this tools for some number of hours. Was four Stars but I am compelled to now give it five Stars, see below on four-star review. This is much better than scribing and snapping the concrete siding board. Cleaner and faster. Easier to handle by one's self than snapping. The big thing about the Milwaukee hole shooter motor is it is much slower due to its heavy gearing to slower thus higher torque drive. The DeWalt was just too fast to control running the tool down the cut line. This is definitely a tool to buy to do say a one house project. Four stars because it really won't work with my DeWalt 18v driver. The DeWalt just didn't have enough power to get through the cement board with ease. Also, the clamping mechanism seemed awkward on the DeWalt. However, when I installed it on my Milwaukee Hole-Shooter drill motor then the tool worked like a champ. The Hole-Shooter is a much more powerful tool. The clamping mechanism works far better on this tool as well. So if you don't want to scribe, snap and file the cut edge on the cement siding board then this tool may be a good option. If your going to do a lot of siding then this is good. Not sure I would buy it again for the one house I am doing based on what I know now. I am kind of a tool-guy so I thought I would give it a go. I am sure it will help but I could have just used to old method for this project.

Turboshear sutiability a big disappointment
I have to admit, I'm surprised these shears got such high reviews. My main complaint is not with the quality of the tool itself, but with its overall suitability for cutting cement board compared to other methods. I bought this prior to my siding project which I am half way through now (finished the first end-wall of a steel arch building), and I have not used it once. It may be alright for arcs, but the advertising copy saying it is great for fine trimming is a flat-out lie. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make a fine trim with this tool, as the cut has to be far enough from the edge to allow the tool proper support, probably at least half an inch or more. Any kind of special cut you might need this for, can be done with a jigsaw and the special 6 TPI Hitachi blades made especially for fiber cement. And the only time I used that was to finish a cut-in started with a circular saw, which is what I used for the entire project. The dust can be managed a number of ways, making this expensive tool unnecessary. Save your money and put it towards a siding nail gun, which was worth its weight in gold. There are better ways to cut fiber cement board. I am only speaking from experience.

Be carefull
I bought this for cutting Marley Cedral planking. They cut ok but if you cut across a plank it chops a chunk off at the end of the cut so only good with length cuts. I ended up useing an angle grinder with a tile cutting blade.

Very dissatisfied
I would score it a 0 if possible as it didn't cut the cement board nice at all. Really doesn't do the job it's meant to except for reducing the dust on cutting. Waste of money and would like to return if possible??

I won’t work without one now....
I’m a sider working almost exclusively with Hardie and this tool has become a staple. Because it’s cordless, small, and light it’s really portable. It doesn’t take a ton of jam to operate either so it doesn’t chew through batteries. When I’m working at heights I can take all the material I’ll need with me and never have to climb down to use a saw until I’m cutting an exposed reveal. It’s just a huge time saver. The guillotine is nice if you’re on flat ground or have lots of room but on scaffolding or roofs, or in a machine etc this is the tool. Quiet and dustless are bonuses, and it’s Malco so you know the quality is there. If you’re a sider working with fibre cement and you think you have an application for this tool, get one. You’ll wish you’d done it sooner.
