Great for chilly pooch...
Our rat terrier is just over 16 pounds and 14" from base of neck to base of tail, but he is pretty stocky and very muscular, with a broad chest, so I ordered a size Medium--and it fits just him perfectly. He is always cold during the winter months, shivering even when he is in the house, and just miserable outside (but he doesn't want to stay cooped up inside all of the time) so I wanted to find something warm as well as durable enough to last through the season. I read lots of reviews for various sweaters and coats before I happened to find this one, and as soon as I saw it, I could just picture him in it...there were only a few reviews for this brand, but from the positive comments and the product description, I figured this was the best option. I'm very happy I purchased this--it is well-made, VERY heavy and warm, and my kids are happy that he doesn't look like a sissy wearing it! At first he wasn't too enthusiastic about it, but within a day or two he got used to it, and now happily wears it every night and whenever he goes outside. I like it so much I just ordered another one in a different pattern so he has something to wear when this one is being washed (I wash it by hand & line dry--takes quite a while to dry--it holds its shape and there is no shrinking). This sweater is great for short-haired dogs or those with a thin coat, but might be too much of a good thing for dogs with thick coats unless it is extremely cold.

Wonderful and Warm
Was very surprised by the excellent quality of this sweater. Love the fact that it's wool, I know it'll be warm and the medium was perfect for my extra large Boston Terrier, who's about 30lbs. I was worried because usually mediums are too small. This was our first Chilly Dog purchase...but it won't be our last!

LOVE this sweater and it fit perfectly. I was worried because my dogs are shaped a little funky but it fit them perfectly and they seem very comfortable in them. I have only washed them once but they are holding up well. They also are hit the perfect spot under their bellies so that they do not interfere with their potty breaks.

I love this brand of sweaters. They are good quality and have awesome designs. Our dog that I bought this medium sweater for is a chihuahua mix who weighs 20lbs. Fits him perfectly.

Chilly dog makes the best sweaters! Have been using these sweaters for years! Thick, hand made, wool, treated for rain. Washes well.

Fantastic sweater!
This is my second Chilly Dog Sweater I just LOVE them My dog seems super warm in them there are no zippers,snaps or Velcro to pop open during walks and playtime They are definitely worth the money !
