Exceeded expectations

This was nicer than I expected --genuinely looks like the quality in the photos. Only drawbacks are that they're not fully fashioned, back/bottom edge not rounded, and not a single armhole which benefits cats.

Color just right and the size fit my Cavelier King Charles. Sizing can be a problem with this brand but this one fit. Very happy!

Well-made classic wool sweater

I have purchased a number of Chilly Dog sweaters over the years and have always been impressed with the quality. Made of 100% wool, they will definitely keep your dog warm. I purchased a size 'Small' for my 8.5 lb Yorkshire terrier. It is 17" long (the size range was 15"-17" long). It is a little large for her, but I wanted to ensure it provided it good coverage all the way to her tail and on the sides. The sweaters are uni-sex which leaves the chest covered but the abdomen bare. The slightly too-large size that I chose (Small) provides some additional coverage in that area. If you are looking for the 'perfect' fit for a dog this size, the 'Extra Small' would probably be the right choice.

The sweater itself is of good quality, I like the colour and the material. However the sizing is off. I have a Miniature Pinscher which typically tend to have a large barrel so I took the size that would be appropriate for her chest. The back was way too long and floppy. A size under and it would be too small to fit around the chest. I am going to try and modify it but for the price it is disappointing. The other strange thing was the "flap" being capelike and disconnected from the chest part. I assume this is useful to male dogs, but it would be nice to have a model that covers down the belly for the ladies! I would give it a 3 1/2 star if that were possible.
