Love it, perfect fit!
I got a Medium for my 28 pounds poodle and it fit very well. IM very satisfied with th3 product that Im goint to getba 2nd one. Waiting to see if it last enought but so far all I ca say is that is was Well done made. Love the material, and for that price I can't ask for more. Oh yes,... that he looks so cute! I don't leave reviews usually but I was thinking in onther dog moms like. A+

We left it on him
I love that this sweater fit so well on my handsome boy. I didn’t think it were possible for him to ever look more dashing. We bought this for him in October 2019. He started growing some sort of mass on his right cheek. We took him in to get samples taken, then taken in again for a biopsy since the sample wasn’t enough. The biopsy came back inconclusive, so we were referred over to a specialist. We’ve already taken him in and out of the vet twice already, then the clinic took forever to answer their phones. When they finally answered, they said the specialist didn’t have any availability for another three weeks. The mass was growing bigger and bigger, then one day, the same day that would have been the birthday of my father who just recently passed in the same month I bought this sweater, he started all of a sudden bleeding uncontrollably from his mouth. We rushed out to the ER Vet which happened to be the same clinic that took forever to answer their phones. They took him in for emergency care. We were told that the mass has been eating away at his tissue in his throat and jaw. That’s what was causing the bleeding. They took xrays that night and saw over two dozen tumors all along his lungs. In two days, we were finally able to take him home. He was still bleeding a lot both from his incision (incision made to get a chunk of the mass to send off to the lab) and from his mouth. He couldn’t pick up balls or sticks anymore and just gave up eating. The clinic took the maximum time to get back to us with his results. We were 10,000 deep in payment for his treatment and had a gofundme going to help with his radiation and chemotherapy if it were an option. They said we could have tried and was given 3 months, but highly likely to be much less than that. The results showed the worst case scenario, the worst form of cancer. We had no choice but to take his pain away. His health dramatically declined in just the few days he was home for. My whole point in this review is to show how well this sweater fit this beautiful boy. The size chart and other reviews are amongst the most honest I’ve ever seen on amazon. People kept saying it was the sock monkey sweater whenever we went out and I always made sure to correct them and say that it’s the “boyfriend sweater!” It was more often called a sock monkey sweater because I got it before Halloween which made it funny, but he made it his own. He was a lot of people’s boyfriend. He was my best friend. I’m writing a review to not only express my honest opinion and complete satisfaction of the product, but to also have it stop popping up on my home page to review since it reminds me of him. It was our favorite article of clothing for him and the most fitting and flattering. It does well in the washer and dryer too. His name was Jethro. He will live in our hearts forever and we made sure to let him go in our favorite sweater.

Sock Monkey Dog
Good thick quality seems like it will be warm.. Colors are pretty close to a traditional sock monkey toy. I Bought a size M based on the sizing info for my Boston Terrier, it does run “long” and covers her lil tail, she isn’t happy with it.

Tore in less than three weeks, but replacement was sent quickly
I purchased this sweater on January 10 for my boston terrier. Not even three weeks later, the entire right side has ripped apart and there is no longer a leg hole. He only wears the sweater for maybe 30 minutes a day when we walk in the mornings so it's not like he is rough on it. I'm returning for a replacement; hoping the next sweater can live up to the real Chilly Dog quality that I've experienced with other dog sweaters. This one was a real disappointment :( UPDATE: I was quickly sent a brand new sweater, and have returned the damaged one. So far, the new sweater seems warm and sturdy, just like I would expect from this brand. Fingers crossed this one holds up as well as all the others I have purchased.

Organic hand knitted wool . Beautiful
I have owned small dogs who need sweaters for almost 50 years. I’m so excited about this sweater!! Most sweaters might last one winter. I have NEVER had a beautiful sweater like this for my dog. This is made out of 100% organic sustainable wool that is hand knitted. You can immediately see this sweater is hand made and exquisitely done. Because it is wool it isn’t quite as soft as acrylic but acrylic falls apart and isn’t warm. This is a heavier sweater and well worth every penny. I have been looking for a great quality sweater for more years than I can remember. This is definitely a winter sweater. I live in Southern California and we do get cold winter nights. High 30’s and low 40’s. But I haven’t found anything remotely appropriate in stores here or even online. If washed correctly this sweater should last for years. Imagine that!

This is the best purchase I have made all year,
We have a smallish dog, a Chihuahua Labrador mix - 30 lbs. He LOVES this sweater like I never thought possible. Not only have I taken to calling him Mr Rogers just due to the look. When we let him out in the morning, he literally comes in from the cold, searches the house for wherever we have left it, finds the sweater, picks the sweater up with his mouth and BRINGS it to me to put on him. He is literally insistent on wearing it when he is cold. So freakin awesome. I had no idea my dog was so smart.

Gorgeous, highly functional -- a winner all 'round! I wanted 100% wool because cotton, acrylic & polyester sweaters simply don't stand up in truly snowy cold. Not only is this 100% wool, it is an adorable print & style that I'd be happy to have in a matching sweater for me (but that might be a bit matchy-matchy eccentric.) The medium fit my 16 pound Maine Coon (yes, a cat) perfectly. Main Coon's are built like little dogs & he wears a dogs harness which is more roomy in the neck & chest than cat harnesses. The cowl neck can be rolled up or down for comfort. I also rolled the back end up a bit just to ensure no accidents while doing his business. The sweater is thus very accommodating. Lots of compliments on the cute-factor of this very practical & beautiful garment. Kitty found it both warm and comfortable. This is not a cheap sweater, but compared to most pet garments it is excellent value for money. Wonderful quality.
According to the chart, my dog is supposed to get a large, he's 31 pounds, but the medium fit him just right, snugly, the way I wanted it to. I needed it to be an underlayer and didn't want any extra material. I like that it is all natural wool. He has a skin condition and I wanted the sweater to be breathable. It is expensive for sure, but I ordered a second one so that while the first one is air drying, he will have a replacement. I wouldn't dare wash it in anything but cold water and air dry, because if it shrinks, it will be too small. So far, perfect. Thank you for a quality item!

My boy looks so dapper
I have a pug and bought a size medium and it fits well. The back is a bit long but it folds under his tail and looks good. It fits his chest perfectly and he looks like a little old man in this. So cute. It’s also warm and stretches enough to get on him. You can also clip his leash onto a harness if you poke the loop through easily without damaging the sweater. Works great for us and looks great!

Very nice shirt
Very nice color, and what a great product quality, everybody asks where we bought it. Ned is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel of 19 pounds. Took the medium. A little loose but not that much. Maybe small would have been too tight. I wonder if I pass it in the washing machine, maybe it will fit better after. Anyways Ned is beautiful with it.

Nice Looking Sweater
This is nice and thick to keep my dog warm, but I have a small dog and the neck is very tight considering that you have to pull it over the dog's head. It should be a little more elastic to stretch better.
