An elegant solution to a problem I didn't know I had

This is predominately my wife's evaluation of this product, and I thought it was worth sharing with the world. My wife has very fine hair. A genetic condition, of course, and it has always been quite finicky. I don't have issues even remotely comparable with my hair and just lather myself up with any old horse-wash available. She, however, has been through a variety of different products as time has gone on, slowly but surely narrowing down the list of specialized products that had the ability to suit her particular needs. Finally, she encountered this product. I, for one, was immediately attracted. The macadamia nut scent is intoxicating, and it remains floating in the air after she has passed, wafting and waiting to catch my attention. Aside from it's exquisite smell, it seems to do everything that my wife wants and more from a moisturizing and cleansing perspective. She purchases both the shampoo and the conditioner. One thing I'll note--if you are accustomed to buying cleaning products that are paraben free and more "clean" or whatever--it does feel weird to put this stuff in your hair. I'm used to my shampoo trying to stick to me and create suds on suds on suds. This stuff is quite delicate and won't engulf your head in a shroud of bubbles. It also comes off quite quickly and easily--similar to the conditioner. I suspect this is what a shampoo/conditioner combo is SUPPOSED to feel like, and my entire lived experience with cheap garbage has simply made it a challenge to appreciate the quality. Anyways--delightful scent, exceptional cleaning, and tender care for my hair. I didn't realize that I was living in the dark ages of shampoo until my wife started stocking our house up with this stuff.

Worth the money

This product is wonderful! I did have trouble with the shipping and packaging. Took weeks to ship and when it arrived half of the bottle was spilled in the bag. Amazon picked up this return and shipped out another bottle, mistake they shipped the conditioner instead of the shampoo, again spillage in the bag. I decided it wasn’t worth the trouble to complain again. Packaging should include the bottle taped down so spillage cannot happen. Product is great but I wouldn’t purchase this from Amazon.

Great and Gluten Free

I have color treated fine hair and this works great on all levels. It really doesn't weigh down my hair, which I didn't even realize was a problem until I switched to this product. The texture and body of my hair has been way better after using this combo (I use the matching conditioner too). I also have Celiac Disease so I have to use gluten free products and finding good ones can be hard. If they even stop being gluten free I'm going to be royally ticked off, because I love this product. I also love that it's cruelty free. I only have a couple complaints. One would be that the scent is a bit strong. I prefer products with a more subtle scent. And the price is a little high, but I'm typically broke so that might just be me. This is more of a criticism for Amazon, but there's not a great description of the product on the sight. I had to enlarge the picture on the bottle to get the info I needed. It's REALLY annoying, because like I said, I have Celiac Disease and there's a lot of products I can't use. Overall great product!

Great product, but shipping needs attention.

I love this shampoo, but it arrived with a broken lid and spilled product. Fortunately I was able to transfer to another shampoo bottle, but there was a loss of product.

Macadamia Weightless Shampoo

I’ve been using this shampoo for years.. absolutely love it! This shampoo has no harsh sulfates that destroy your hair and strip color. My hair is so soft, shiny and healthy. My first time ordering this shampoo from Amazon, it arrived exploded in the plastic seal bag. Amazon stands behind their products and accidents, I’m sure it will be taken care of. Hair stylists recommend you swap shampoos so your hair doesn’t accumulate build up or used to the same product. I use this shampoo and occasionally use Kerastase sulfate free smoothing shampoo. Macadamia makes fabulous products that smell amazing!! Highly recommend!!

My family has bought this brand and size from amazon multiple times and every time we compare to the actual product from Macadamia that’s bought from a salon and the product appears different. Same smell and good quality. Just seems different. Love this brand though!
