To be clear, we originally bought these for our bidet. We needed something different to dry with, something softer, and upon reading a bunch of reviews, I thought these would be perfect! No. They are not. IF you are looking for these to dry after the bidet, they absolutely will not work. First, at 9 x 9, which it says right in the description, they are too small. I wasn’t sure if this would be an issue or not, but it is. (I am not removing stars for any of this. The company designed them to be baby washcloths, and I am only grading for what they designed them for. I will get to the baby washcloth design in a minute, however, I do know that a lot of you are now searching for bidet dryers, and so, those points first.) As bidet dryers, besides being too small, they are way too thin, and simply are not absorbent enough. They won’t soak in any water at all, so, they just don’t DRY. So, if you’re looking for something for the bidet, this isn’t it. As for softness. Eh. I’m not sure why people are gushing over them in their reviews about them being the softest thing they’ve ever felt. I’m not sure how long they’ve been around and what all they’ve been feeling, but, I wouldn’t quite put it like that. These feel like your regular old baby washcloths; you’d get at any baby shower. You know the baby washcloths your mom/dad/grandma/aunty used on you? These are them! We have a baby, but... eh... there are better washcloths out there. I’ve seen people suggest using them as reusable wipes. I could get onboard with that idea. I’m not thinking they’d really be good for much else. Makeup removers maybe? (They are soft enough for that.) We are going to repurpose them and use them as one of several layers in masks. They ARE soft enough that they could lay against your face for a few hours. Pros: • Size was correct at 9 x 9 • They ARE soft, just not exaggerated soft like some are saying. Don’t overthink it. They are washcloths. • Good prices. $9 for 12 washcloths. • Cute colors. • Can make reusable wipes out of them at a decent price! Cons: • they are NOT very absorbent. • they are extremely thin. • do not make good washcloths. • do not make good bidet cloths. • Too small (for a bidet cloth) Hope this helps someone.
