Undersized

Quality appears to be fair, description says the hole is 3/8". It is oval and only 3/8 at it's widest point. Impossible to thread a 5/16" cord through it, a huge struggle for a 1/4" cord. Grossly misleading.

Keeps my shorts & sweats where they belong

I've got a few pairs of shorts & sweatpants with a single drawstring in the waistband. This always seemed like an odd setup to me, because there is no great way to cinch them up without tying what turns into a Gordian knot. This has become a problem as I have lost a bit of weight and my pants don't stay up as easily as they once did. I didn't want to cut the drawstring, because the ends would almost certainly get frayed and munged up over time. Somewhere on the internets I found a recommendation for cord locks, and they have worked brilliantly. Just slide them over the doubled drawstring, tie a knot behind them, and you can go jogging without shocking the neighbors.

Pretty Good.

These are pretty decent. I was looking for the best of the best of cordlocks, like the ones that came on my Hill People Gear bags, which are super rugged and also have some texture on the top to help you ID them in the dark. I was hoping these were them, but they are not. They do seem to be well made and durable. I wish the colors were more matte and not so glossy.

great product and delivery

hello, we needed some cord line stoppers and this liberty cord lock fit the bill. the spring inside is the strongest of the two sets we ordered. the size was a little longer, but the spring inside was a lot stronger making the cord stopper hold better. the other set we purchased was smaller and flatter, but the spring was not very strong. those can be used for other things, like cords on a hat to keep it from blowing off in a breeze, liberty mountain has the strongest one we have used. yrmv

A handy solution to a knotty problem

I've been a long-time sufferer of "too long" shoelaces on athletic shoes. I tend to step on the laces and untie the the shoes and eventually shred the lace. The cord locks secure the laces well. I thread both ends of the lace through the cord lock. After tightening and locking the lace, I'll tie a knot about an inch-and-half above the cord lock and cut off the rest of the lace. This way, I can slip the cord lock up to remove the shoe. When I put the shoe on, all I need to do it slip the cord lock down.

Very Stiff Spring.

I needed cord locks with flat ends. Because of being disabled, I use these on my shoe laces. Most of the cord locks have rounded ends which make it too difficult to compress with one finger. I bought these to use in place of some old concave end ones that don't seem to be made anymore. If you are not handicapped in any way, & you need cord locks that are going on Para chord or something, these might be 5 star for you. My problem is that the spring is way too stiff for me to operate.

Just what I was looking for

I really like that these are not tiny and have a very good spring in them to hold the tiniest ribbon to small string doubled. I am also happy to find a package that doesn't have a ton in it. I didn't need 25 or 50. I really only needed 2, but now I have just a couple for backup or other projects.

Great product, wish I ordered the larger diameter...

Works well, but the 1/4" is too small for my son's drawstring pants. If that is what you need them for, order a larger size! The spring is a little tough for a first grader.
