Germophobes BEWARE!!

Although I have absolutely ordered used products from Amazon, anything that goes on my skin has always been a big no no. Can you imagine my surprise when I thought I was opening a brand new lotion only to find the pump covered in residue which transferred to the box... Pretty gross and not even the first time this has happened to me. And now I have to drive quite far to return the used product so I'm not charged for the replacement. I love Mrs.Meyer's and I'm confident the replacement will indeed be new, but, if you're a germophobe use caution and glove up before opening just in case!

Great lotion!

I really like this lotion because the scent is great, but not overwhelming. I'm prone to headaches with super strong scents, so something a little more subtle is great for me! I also like that this lotion isn't greasy. Highly recommend!

Great lotion

So, I tried the Lemon Verbena-scented one first, because lavender-scented stuff can be overwhelming and doesn't smell good a lot of the time. The Lemon Verbena one smelled okay, but I didn't like the consistency as well. I don't know what they do different between the two different scents, but the formula is different. The Lavender-scented one is more what I like. It's thicker and lasts longer.. and the smell is actually quite pleasant. I tried it at first because of the great price. I'll keep buying the Lavender one. I like it. :)

I like this hand lotion

This is a fine hand lotion. I keep one on our dresser and one in the kitchen. Chapped hands are a real problem for us in the winter and this hand lotion works. It is not as thick as my Neutrogena, but still high quality. It also lasts a long time.

NOT SOAP

THIS IS NOT SOAP. It came up when I typed in "Meyer's Hand SOAP". Sure, I should have read the listing closer, but lotion should not come up when I search for soap. If you don't have soap, just say so. It's ok. I'll get it somewhere else. Very nice lotion, so five stars. Just don't buy it by mistake if you need SOAP because despite Amazon showing it to you if you type "Soap", it is NOT SOAP.

Not similar to lavender.

This does NOT smell like lavender. It has an artificial synthetic odor. My attempts to scrub the smell off and to mask it with real lavender essential oil failed. The unnatural odor lingering on my hands made sleeping difficult.

Moisturizing, creamy, and great for value

Sooooo good!! My hands have been getting really dry from hot water and frequent washing, they were like sandpaper. I'm typically a fan of my luxury hand cream L'occitane but I couldn't find my stash. So I went on a limb to order an alternative in the meantime that was a little easier on the wallet. I absolutely love this cream, it's a nice creamy texture, very moisturizing, and doesnt leave an icky film-- it absorbs really well. The scent is definitely a little different than classic lavender as others noted, but it does have lavendar to it, but it might be a little more floral like. I actually really like the scent overall, and would definitely recommend.

Very scented!

Holy moly, I was not expecting the lotion to be so scented. If you're looking for a lightly lavender scented lotion, do not buy this one!! This one is like a strong perfume. Too much for me!

More moisturizing than I thought.

I’m used to watery organic lotions that need to be mixed with a body butter to be moisturizing. I was pleasantly surprised that this product is super moisturizing on its own. Does it smell like lavender? Not really, but it’s floral scent isn’t too overwhelming so I’m ok with it.
