This worked out perfectly for me!

I keep a container that holds about 10lbs of my dog's kibble in it under a cabinet for convenience (filled from a 30lb back when needed). A few months ago one of my 4 dogs needed to go on a prescription kibble for kidney issues. I didn't have room for another container like the other. I saw this smaller container with the flap on the front, and thought I'd give it a try. Honestly when I received it looked like it would be too small and I'd have to fill it too frequently. Not believing it held 21 cups, I measured out his food by the 1/3 cup he gets twice a day. It holds about 3 weeks of food, which actually is about perfect! I like them for pantry storage, and might buy more for rice and flour as well. They seal very nicely but the flap on the front makes it easy to access the contents.

Have bought again, will probably buy more.

The 50.7 cup holds 5kg (11.5ish lbs) of laundry powder (pictured) or a 20lb bag of rice (I don't want to pull it out of my pantry. The scoop is about 3/4 cup. I also have both of the smaller containers that I use for various grains in my pantry. These are PERFECT for bulk dry storage. The smallest container from this set holds 2-3lbs of rice or beans. My ONLY complaint is on the 50.7c container, the lock for the access lid is also the front lock for the entire top. But it seals when it's closed and the top doesn't come off with the one lock opened so it's really not a complaint. Just a design change I would make. I will likely be buying more of these containers for food and craft storage. They CAN hold liquid but I would not recommend these for liquid storage.

Container nice but video deceptive about size.

When I watched the video provided, it talked about how the container could hold almost 15lbs. of dry pet food. Just what I needed! The written product description only talks about volume in "cups" so when I got the product, I was shocked at how small it was!!!!!!! Product descriptions should include measurements that are more easily visualized since the photos don't provide any good size comparisons or references. This is maddening because it is hard to tell what size to order for your needs. I'll keep the darn things but I can't use them for what I had intended...15 lbs. of dry cat food! A damn disappointment!!!!!!!!!! Sellers need to do a better job at describing their products so people can order what they really need. So frustrating!!! Like I said, the product itself seems of good quality but it is absolutely inadequate.

Keeps my powdered detergent dry

After combing through LOTS of products that were too big, too small, not sealed, glass, or ugly, I found this. It fits in the laundry room cabinet and I no longer have to pull out the whole powder box every time I do a load of laundry. I can open the little front door, use my little scoop, and it's easy peasy.

Angled Access Door Easy to Get Contents Without Moving the Container Off the Shelf

I really like that the container height easily fit on my pantry shelf and the little front door opens to get the Koi food out of the bin without having to take the whole container out of the pantry. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was that when taking off the whole lid to fill the bin, it is tricky to get the precise fit you need on the seal for it to be air tight and leakproof. There must be an order that that you need to follow when snapping down the big lid clips hat I have not figured out. No instructions included. I eventually get it sealed, but takes a lot of precise lining up and pressure. Now I refill the bin using the small front door and avoid taking off the big lid.

Using as an Ice Bin

I am writing this review and including pictures for those, like myself, who wants to use this as an ice bin. I don't have a refrigerator with an built in ice maker and so I needed something to store a bag of ice. I had originally purchased the 21 cup LocknLock but when it arrived, it didn't look big enough to hold a big bag of ice; so I sent that one back and ordered this 50.7 cup LocknLock bin. It is large and takes up almost half to the upper freezer shelf but as I have a separate stand alone freezer, this isn't a problem. What I like about it is that this bin have a large front door that I can scoop ice out of. The lid snaps easily in place and the base seems pretty solid so I don't expect any leakage. No cons so far but will update if I experience any. The pictures shown are what was left of the bag of ice I'd purchase, so about a quarter of the bag. I think another bag of ice will fill this bin completely full.

Not for dog food

The first picture has the bin from this listing on the left and the one I needed (50.7 cup, Walmart, $20) on the right. The one on the right holds a 12lb bag of dog food. The one on the left (this listing) may hold a 2 pound one? I was concerned about stacking ability for these and still am even with the bigger ones because they have tops with soft edges and short ledges on the bottom. The big ones have wheels. That can be looked at as a plus or minus. Not sure about airtightness, but they will keep out mice, dogs, and probably the toddler for 10-15 minutes until they are strong enough. To be clear, yes, I returned them and kept the big ones from Walmart.

Great Small Bins

Use for my three small dogs who require three different foods! Have discovered that when replacing the lid, the front piece needs to be securely in place before locking the remaining sides.

I hate spending tons of money on plastic to start with so I will always see the value different than those who don't mind spending on plastic. Holds alot of dog food we could probably use 2 or 3 with how much dog food we buy at a time but this is convenient and it fits in the cupboards easily!!!

Nice Container

Its a tad small, and due to the shape you probably won't be able to fill it to the listed volume. That said, its still decent for the price, with silicone packing for the seals. Would probably look into getting the bigger ones when things settle down and you can get them at a reasonable price.

Large capacity with Easily fitting Lid

I was very pleased when I got this product. The container is incredibly spacious - to give some idea I had a large Roses tin filled with dog treats (gravy bones, mini snacks etc.) and I tipped the full tin into the container and it only filled it halfway. The lid has multiple locking catches and is very easy to completely lift off which aids easy filling. It has a lockable flap at the front end allowing access on the go. The flap opening is big enough for my hand & my husband's hand to fit in easily. Supplied with a serving scoop which is very handy if dishing out smaller items such as cereal etc. The scoop also has a pouring lip too. It has kept loose food very fresh after a couple of month's in action. Depending on the size of your kitchen cupboards, this will fit onto a shelf it the height and depth is big enough. I've put mine through the dishwasher and it's been absolutely fine. Have to say I'm very pleased wit my purchase!
