Nice wood bowl

I purchased this wood bowl for my big cake yarn ( that I wind up ), the sides are straight and tall not curved like a bowl, it has a flat bottom so the yarn cake lays flat and wide enough to hold a BIG yarn cake. ( I pull the yarn from the center) The “ yarn bowls “ are small curvy good for small size yarn balls or yarn cakes. I needed a BIG BOY bowl. And it pretty color wood as well.

UPDATE 2021: It's been 5 years and I still use this bowl to hold my K-cups. It looks as good as day one and I have never had any regret about making this purchase. I'm on my third brewer since getting this bowl. I wish Lipper International made coffee makers. I am very happy with this bowl. It is smoothly finished on the sides as well as the rim and has a lovely woodgrain. The bottom of this bowl is completely flat on the inside, as well as the outside. After years of storing my K-cups in a drawer-type holder that sat under the brewer, I got tired of having to individually load one cup at a time to refill it. The drawer was also beginning to squeak as it was opened or closed, so it was time to say "Goodbye, you served me well." and look for some other way to store K-cups nearby and handy to grab while still half asleep. I am providing photos so you can see how wonderfully it does what I wanted it to. I usually buy the 96-count carton of K-cups which comes packaged as FOUR 24-count boxes. An entire box fits even when the bowl isn't completely empty from the previous box, though it is more mounded than shown here because I've been using it for a couple of weeks. And it is super fast, just open the box and dump the contents into the bowl. Put empty box into recycle bin. Done!

Truly Beautiful Wood and Modern Stylish Design.

These are so beautiful I purchased the matching smaller bowl like it. The smaller bowl organizes my desk clutter and I may purchase a second as a key keeper. This 10" size is excellent for keeping my teak dining table clutter free. It's a pretty organizer which makes it easier to clean the table it sits on because everything is removed for cleaning in one bowl! I put a little butcher block wax/oil on mine immediately after washing to keep it beautiful for years and recommend Howard Butcher Block Conditioner for this purpose as I also use it on my awesome looking Madeira Provo Teak Edge-Grain Carving Board which still looks marvelous. This bowl has no stain so can safely be used around food, unlike others I've mistakenly purchased before. This would make a nice two person salad bowl combined with smaller scale tongs or salad hands. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase and you will be too. Make sure to purchase these with Prime shipping so even if you don't like them, Amazon will refund or replace these with their generous satisfaction guarantee.

Gorgeous and sturdy!

This was bit pricey for a salad bowl, but went ahead and purchased it. When it arrived, I was shocked at how gorgeous and sturdy it was! Used it the other day to make a salad — it was life changing! You see I’m just the type of girl to throw her salad on plate, pour a lot of dressing on top of it, and mix it while I eat it. But when I used this, it evenly mixed the dressing on the veggies. I didn’t even use too much dressing to ensure it’s all covered. Anyway, bottom line .. great purchase! It was easy to clean, wash and dry.

Nice for a small dinner party

This is a well constructed nice size wooden bowl. Many salad bowls are so large they don’t work for a small dinner party, or are difficult to take to another’s home. This works well in both scenarios.

Makes salad fun!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this salad bowl- the feel of it is so warm and comforting- I really love using it. I am not particulary fond of salad- but using this bowl just makes salad more fun!! Its worth the money for sure!

I love this Salad Bowl.... Makes every salad look spectacular... Have many compliments on this bowl... I don't place it in the dishwasher although my friends say I could but it's just me. I like to wash separately in the sink... So easy!.... I dry right away.... Would highly recommend... Quality made...

Nice looking bowl although mine had a 1 inch surface crack (which I filled). If using for salads, etc. I would oil it first.

Buena calidad precio y tamaño grande

Más grande de lo que pensé. Lo cual es bueno si la familia es numerosa, sino es así no se puede usar tan seguido. Pero tiene muy buena capacidad, es profunda y solo lo he usado con ensalada ( aderezo aparte) no se ha separado la madera hasta el momento. Muy bonita para el precio

Sturdy

I used this to carve the sides to make it into a knitting bowl. The bowl is sturdy and solid - I had no problems with cracking - and I got the design I wanted for a reasonable price.
